Seriously can't decide if I prefer Olive Garden or Bahama Breeze. Guess it depends on my mood.
First things first, if you like Barbancourt Rum, you can get it here, although why you'd mix it in a drink is beyond me. Sip it, like a fine whiskey.
Staff was friendly and efficient, which is sometimes hard to find in Orlando. Food came out quickly, nice and hot. I had the Carnitas rice bowl - Spanish style pork, chorizo sausage, corn, plantains, and yellow rice. Excellent dish!! I looked at the other dishes passing my table and everything looked good.
Beware this location when it's raining, though. The roof leaks in several places in the restaurant. We were there during a typical central Florida deluge and the poor staff was throwing down side towels trying to keep the water at bay in the passageway to the bathrooms. They told us the shop is going through a $2 million renovation to solve the leaky roof.
Bathroom was clean and hot water was available, always good signs. Prices are about average for the area.
If you want something a little different but still want a chain restaurant experience, this is the place for you. Food served up with island flair.
