“Brilliant experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This was one of my favourite restaurants on I-Drive. The food was fresh and tasty, the cocktails were fantastic, and the hostess and servers very friendly, helpful, and polite! My favourites were the tropical shrimp/chicken salad and Rebecca's Key Lime pie (which was shared!).

“Excellent value for money for tasty food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

In terms of value for money this restaurant was the best that we found on our recent trip to Orlando. We ate here 3 times. The burgers were the best we'd tasted (the 4 adults on our table who had one agreed) and the fact that you could get a bit of variety (we had the curry and the Chipotle beef on another night) was great. Cocktails were reasonably priced and our meals here were cheaper than comparable restaurants (Tony Romas, TGIs etc) Thoroughly recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced meal in a restaurant with a good atmosphere.
Although they don't take reservations, they now have call ahead dining so you can reduce any waiting time for a table by giving them a call first

“One of top two in the Darden Chain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Seriously can't decide if I prefer Olive Garden or Bahama Breeze. Guess it depends on my mood.

First things first, if you like Barbancourt Rum, you can get it here, although why you'd mix it in a drink is beyond me. Sip it, like a fine whiskey.

Staff was friendly and efficient, which is sometimes hard to find in Orlando. Food came out quickly, nice and hot. I had the Carnitas rice bowl - Spanish style pork, chorizo sausage, corn, plantains, and yellow rice. Excellent dish!! I looked at the other dishes passing my table and everything looked good.

Beware this location when it's raining, though. The roof leaks in several places in the restaurant. We were there during a typical central Florida deluge and the poor staff was throwing down side towels trying to keep the water at bay in the passageway to the bathrooms. They told us the shop is going through a $2 million renovation to solve the leaky roof.

Bathroom was clean and hot water was available, always good signs. Prices are about average for the area.

If you want something a little different but still want a chain restaurant experience, this is the place for you. Food served up with island flair.

“Worth a Visit but the Smokers are a pain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Well worth a visit.
Went there in the afternoon just for a Drink on the outside decking found very present a diner went off to smoke by the road
Went back there in evening as hot evening found a nice table ordered drink before ordering meal of the large menu. Whilst choosing noticed a local asking Waitress for a ashtray to which she brought him one. That opened the floodgates with other diners requesting ashtrays. The place even tho had no walls but overhead fans blowing the smoke back down onto you.
We were lucky as some other diners were already eating & having to now endure other people's dirty habit with their food. When waitress came to take order we told her we were going because we didn't want to eat in a place that encourages dirty smoking. Sad to say most of the people smoking were Brits

“Good eating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

If you like a lot of food this is the place for you...Now just in case you don't want that regular portion, you can get the smaller one. Problem is it's still a lot. Pretty much all the food is good here every time I go. They have good Jamaican wings to some nice lobster and shrimp linguine. At times it can get crowded because of the outdoor area..Like a club. You'll enjoy the fish tanks (depending on which location) and cigars for purchase. this restaurant is one you have to visit .
