I've eaten sushi all my life, almost everyday. I've dined at almost all sushi joints in orlando and Fuji on Conroy Windermere is the most horrible sushi I've ever eaten in my life. My husband & I decided to give it a try even though all of people we know tried to talk us out of it. Bravely, we walked in the there and ate the yuckiest sushi ever. The rice is overcooked so the grains became powdery and the vinegar overly powered the rice. You could get GERD just by eating this stuff. Our tuna and Salmon teriyaki dinners are so gross. They are cheap fish, thinly sliced (it's a no no), and drizzled with supermarket teriyaki sauce. The filet mignon is so chewy and well-done even when I asked for med-rare. The katsu don is overcooked, dry, and battered so thickly that the batter is 2x thicker than the meat. Don't even mention the appetizers, GROSS.
Only americans who know nothing about japanese cuisine should spend their money there.
Those who think this place is good, go so place else and try the sushi before calling this place good. If after that and you still think it is good, then congrat! You have a very acquired taste.
