So what to expect. ....
This restaurant is on the corner of Conroy and Kirkman so it's close to I-4 and around the corner from Universal Studios. It's in a Publix Shopping Center next to Starbucks and some smoothie place so the parking is good.
Once you park and open your doors you'll immediately smell the smokey goodness of it all.
Why I love it? This is real good BBQ, slow cooked. They also have great fried okra and sweet tea.
Sweet Tea: Awesome, not too sweet and with a good tea taste. Free re-fills the but large is only 20 cents more, so might as well have it so you can take it to go.
Fried okra: Fried firm, with no sliminess at all. Tastes awesome with the 4 different BBQ sauces.
Pulled Pork: This is what I usually get, it is juicy juicy juicy with great smokey flavor that you would savor!
Ribs: Fall off the bone with great smokey flavor!
Wings - .... my friend got the hottest wings known to man here. It's off the menu, but ask for "Hank Sauce" and the whole kitchen staff will come out to bring you the wings and watch you eat it. It is seriously painful. I had hallucinations while driving home after eating 1 wing. My friend ate a few but couldn't finish. If you're a hot head, this will test your might.
Best part is that you can walk away full and with a large Ice Tea for about $10 - $12 per person.
Hope this was HELPFUL!!!
