“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

We spent the week with a large party of nine -- six adults and three children. We were assigned a spacious three-bedroom unit overlooking the golf course. Our building was recently refurbished and except for the carpeting, which was somewhat soiled, the unit was in great shape and well-equipped. The pools closest to our villa were small but clean and nicely outfitted with toys and floats for the children. Staff was friendly. Fitness facility was great and the equipment new. Overall this is a very nice resort -- great trade if your are an Interval International member. Can't beat the location.

What we didn't like about our visit:
While this has nothing to do with the resort itself, I would encourage timeshare traders to avoid the timeshare presentation. As Marriott Vacation Club Owners, we were encouraged to participate in this informative meeting because it would help explain Mariott's new point system. This was clearly the lowpoint of our visit as it turned out to be a very intense sales pitch that left us feeling like our previous timeshare investment was worthless.

Room Tip: Ask for a villa that has been renovated.

We spent the week here with four adults and three children. It was big and very clean with great amenities--giant soaking tub, walk-in shower, 4 televisions, florida room overlooking a pond & the golf course. The kitchen was equipped for 12. It was only two miles to Disney's Magic Kingdom parking lot. The grounds contained two swimming pools, a playground, two hot tubs, a wading pool, a golf course, basketball courts, tennis courts, BBQ grills and more. The staff was constantly cleaning. We loved it.

Marriott Imperial Palms has a terrific location so close to Disney World but is still private and quiet. We had a three bedroom unit with a full kitchen & a washer/dryer in the unit. Absolutely no complaints!

I would highly recommend this hotel for families. The units are spacious 3 bedrooms, fully equipped villas that seemed to be recently tastefully renovated. It's conveniently situated, not so far from all the entertainment Orlando has to offer. We checked in around 4pm and front desk accommodated us with no inconveniences or delays. The pools and activities seem to be pretty fun, but be aware that you will have to pay for some of them. This resort is next to the Marriott World Center and the Sabal Palms resort which you can go around and take advantage of the amenities they have as well. Also if you need something in this resort they also have a mini convenience store. When I say mini, I mean it, so if you need more selection pick somewhere else to shop. The pools are smaller in size compared to the World Center but they are great to relax after a long day! Overall I don't have any complaints and I highly recommend this property to anyone!

As a Marriott vacation club owner this is the first time we have stayed at Imperial palms and were suitably impressed with the size of the 3 bed villa and the location. We have stayed at other Marriott locations in Orlando but would say this has been our favourite so far and would definitely stay here again.

We were in a three bedroom villa. Wow....what a great place to stay... Close to everything...especially the venues at WDW.
The unit was spacious, and loaded with everything we needed. The pools were great and a nice area to relax in after a tough day with a 3 yr old at the Magic Kingdom. Easy to get to all the places on International Drive. Easy to get to the airport...plenty of free parking...we really enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Palms Villas

I am a vacation club owner and i have stayed at multiple properties around the world. This was my first stay at the Marriott's Imperial Palm Villas. I have older girls so I elected a three bedroom villa so we would have some elbow room. The villas have been recently renovated and the interiors were fresh, clean and comfortable. The outside is a bit dated because this is an older property - no way around that. The pools are small and there is a limited gym on site but there are bathrooms at the pools and some have shower facilities. The good news is that this property is located on the grounds of the Marriott World Center - by far their largest property. The pool at the World Center is where you want to be - it is huge, has a water slide for the kids and has a pool side bar where you can get a cold drink and some food without having to walk too far from your beach chair. The Fitness Center there is well equipped and the equipment is new. Staff at the imperial palms and the world center were very friendly and accomodating. Our experience was very good. Check it out.
