“Clean, comfortable & close to Downtown Disney”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

This resort is awesome! It was clean & comfortable for a two bedroom. We would stay again.
We asked for a room in front of the pirate ship pool and they did, with hestitation! The resort has 6 or 7 towers each with its own pool. They are all around a lake. Beautiful to visit all the pools, we did in one day. There were turtles in the lake, very cool to see! Very close to Downtown disney, however it cost for the shuttle, but we just drove our van. Downtown Disney is insane for parking this month, lotsa construction. We used valet, only $20 for the evening. Awesome with a family of 7!!
Happy Vacation if you stay here!!

My parents were staying at the Waldorf, so I opted for the Wyndham as it was close to them, at a fraction of the price- I stayed in a deluxe two bed for a week over Halloween for just $716, an absolute bargain.

The location is fantastic, so close to Disney, and quiet, it felt very safe. The grounds are lovely, the towers are situated around a small lake, with multiple pools, eateries, BBQ sites and amenities. I was in tower 2, which suited me, it had the children's play park to one side, the mini golf in front, and a couple of pools, one great for my toddler, to the other side. The pizzeria/bar was here also, which did big pizzas for $15.

Check in was fast and painless, no queue, as was check out, and there was no timeshare talk as I was travelling without my husband. The staff were all very nice and helpful throughout my stay, and when I requested a cot (play yard) for my one year old, I was also offered a high chair. Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer made the week so much cheaper and easier too. It wasn't as glamorous as my parents suite at the Waldorf, but it was comfortable and perfect for my needs.

There were plenty of activities on throughout each day, and with all the different pools and eateries, you could have a great week in Orlando without ever leaving the resort. Halloween was good fun, the resort organised a trick or treat trail, with staff members in costume manning treat outposts, and we saw some great outfits.

I'll definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great facilities.

This resort is near all disney parks, has shuttle bus every 30 minutes free to the parks. Resort has a beautiful swimming pool and the suites are beautifully decorated. If you have a smaller budget this resort is great, because all rooms come with ful kitchens and washer and dryer

Room Tip: All rooms are great

My husband and I were going on a cruise out of Port Canaveral and wanted to spend a couple of nights in Orlando prior to the trip. The options in Orlando are so abundant, it was a bit of a challenge to narrow down the finalists from all the great choices of hotels and resorts. We booked a 1-bedroom condo based on the other Trip Advisor reviews of the Bonnet Creek resort, and we are extremely glad we did.

The condo in Tower 6 was spacious, absolutely sparkling clean, and far exceeded our expectations with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, televisions in both the living room and bedroom, a separate tub and beautifully tiled walk-in shower.

The grounds are inviting, peaceful and beautiful. You can buy park passes for the various amusement parks onsite which is quite convenient. There's free parking, but sometimes you might have a bit of a walk from one of the multi-story garages.

Our only regret was that we didn't book it again for the 2 nights after the cruise.

I would definitely recommend it and hope to return here again.

Room Tip: Book a room with a view of the lake if possible.

This a beautiful resort right on the skirt of Disney. Excellent location, excellent amenities, plenty to do. First class rooms(at least the ones I saw). Overpriced food. Don't get the tortillas with cheese at the bar near the pool. I'm not sure what it was but I wouldn't call it cheese. For the price they charge they could use real cheese. Chicken quesadilla was good. Wings were decent. At the other restaurant a member in the group we were with paid $28 for a 4 egg breakfast. Just eggs.
There is no reason to fret about the restaurant prices when there is a lovely kitchen in the room. Make a run to Whole Foods or Walmart and you're set. Everything you need to cook and clean is right there. Maybe pack some spices to bring with you.
I was with a group who got a great nightly rate. $89 a night for a two bedroom suite. We had to attend a timeshare presentation.
The presentation was not too bad. You will be paired up with a salesman. They don't want you to ask questions during the presentation. The word vacation is thrown about a lot. Like what is a lifetime of vacations worth to you, etc. You are not buying a vacation or a week every year at the same place. They are selling you points. This is the bees knees of resorts. Your points might not get you here when you want or even be enough. Enough of that, timeshare is what it is. Do your homework ahead of time. Go to youtube. Google the timeshare aspects. And if you really think you want to buy something check out Ebay or other sources. Tell the presenters you want time to think. Don't commit that day to anything. There are yearly fees, etc, etc. Please do your homework. This could be a 30 year financial commitment of 10's of thousands up to well over $100,000. Not for a guaranteed room. But for points. 10,000 points might get you a few days at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for a weekend this year. What about 10 years from now?
You do get paid $125 in an American Express card to attend the presentation. You could also take a timeshare week somewhere. But it wouldn't be at this resort.
We had a 2 bedroom Condo. So I rated room service at a 3 because we didn't use any. And the spa as a 3 because I didn't use any.

Room Tip: The higher the better. Try to get a room either facing the back pool area. Or one aimed at the night...

We just had a 6 night stay at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Orlando. Excellent location to all Disney Parks and Downtown Disney, just off the main strip, so finding our way to all the parks was very easy and quick. Resort was amazing, tropical feel, many pools and two lazy rivers! Extremely clean and well kept inside and outside. We had a 2 bedroom suite, tons of space, I think about 1200 sqf. Ensuite bathroom was amazing with jacuzzi tub. We were on 6th floor of 7 floor building, views were amazing, ask for lake or pool view so you don't look at a parking lot! Several restaurants, food was good at both. Kitchen is fully stocked with all items, silverware, dishes, glassware, baking needs, etc. ample in all areas. There is a stackable washer/dryer in unit, and 3 packs of detergent. The kitchen also had a very small bottle of dish detergent, and enough packs of dishwasher detergent for 3 cycles. All of the included soap, etc. was plenty for us, family of 4, for 6 days, and we cooked breakfast every day. Our iron would not work, so we called front desk and a brand new one was delivered quickly. We also called for extra towels and they were delivered quickly as well.

Pools were beautiful. You have to stop at the desk in the fitness room to get pool towels, and they do make you sign for them and return them upon your departure from resort or you will be charged so don't forget them on a chaise at the pool! There were several pool side cabanas that could be rented, and included a small fridge and even a tv in them!

Only complaint, the transportation service to/from the Disney parks, which is a fee of $7/person/day is poor. The service to Animal Kingdom is only at 940 am and 1140 am with only one return trip. Service to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, there is several trips to the Transportation and Ticket Center, from there you take a monorail to either of the parks, so there is NO direct service to a park. You have to pay for the service morning of, and you also have to select from their limited departure and pick up times. For example, if you pick a return from Epcot for 10 pm and at 6 pm you are too tired to stay another 4 hours and would like to change your time from 10 pm to 7 pm (yes, the return trips are about 3 hours or more apart), you have to notify the company at least an hour in advance of any changes to your return trip. We only used the service for 3 days. The first day, our shuttle arrived and was too full to accommodate us and 4 other people as well. A second shuttle arrived and started shuffling passengers between the two vehicles to fit us all in. We were heading to Magic Kingdom, but were forced to ride the Hollywood Studios shuttle. I couldn't understand why it was overcrowded, when you had to prebook your trip! The second day we scheduled a shuttle, it never showed up. Apparently, even though we booked it to be picked up at Tower 1, the shuttle was sent to Tower 6. The company had to send a cab to take us to Downtown Disney that night, and the cab driver was confused as to who had to pay, and it wasn't us!!! Third times a charm, as the service worked well. On the return trip, if you are at Epcot, you will have to give yourself plenty of time to get the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center to get to the specified parking spot to catch the shuttle, just as a precaution, leave yourself ample time to do this, or you will be waiting over 3 hours for the next shuttle, or the cost of a cab.

Room Tip: Request a pool/lake view, otherwise you will be looking at a parking lot!

Green Features: Beautiful hotel, there is a spot on the boardwalk in front of the pool where you can feed koi and catfish, and the occasional turtle as well!

We stayed at this resort for 6 nights. Mom, dad, daughter 22 and son 11. We had a two bedroom deluxe and upon arrival, we checked in. A room was ready right away. It was a 1st floor room in tower 2. I really did my research on this resort and knew I did not want tower 2 because there were no good pools for my kids right outside our door. I was told by the check-in agent that there were no other rooms available at that very moment, but she took the cell ph# and said she would call when another room was available. They tend to save Tower 6 for members (and we got our reservation thru a travel company) and Tower 5 is under construction, so I knew Tower 4 would be next on the list. So here is my list of requests: Tower 4, Fireworks view, High floor. We went to get lunch and came back a few hours later. There was a room ready and it was Tower 4, 13th floor and fireworks view!!! BINGO!! I believe it was 1368, but not completely sure at this time. We had nightly views of both Wishes and Illuminations, not to mention the added bonus of watching the hotair balloon over Downtown Disney over and over. We loved our room. Requests are just that...requests, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
The room is very spacious and having a full kitchen was great. We had a washer and dryer in the room which meant we didn't need to pack so much and it was nice to dry the bathing suits right away.
The grounds are extremely well kept. There are BBQ grills (gas) all over the resort and we saw many families enjoying them at different times of the day. There is a nice path around the lagoon and it made for an enjoyable walk both in the am and pm. They play music all along the path. We did not get a chance to play mini golf, but we did enjoy a few games of billiards in the main building. There is also an arcade center there.
We got pizza one evening from tower 3 (La Cucina I think) it was pretty good. A large is not that big, it fed three of us with an additional salad.
We got a few trinkets at the gift shop, but beware, there prices are high (this is to be expected)
Tip:
1) skip the parking pass counter that they tell you to go to. You don't need it, your room key will get you into the resort parking each day. The parking pass counter is just a scam to try and sell you on a time share-again, I did my homework ahead of time and knew to skip this.
2) go to the grocery store to grab a few items for meals. The prices in the gift shop are high. We ate breakfast daily in the room and it was also nice to have wine on the balcony while watching the fireworks.
3) pools: there are more pools/slides/lazy rivers on the side where towers 4,5, and 6 are. My son is 11 and while they were not "exciting", they were themed well.
4) if you get a chance, attend the kareoake (sp) this was a lot of fun. There were a lot of good singers there the night we attended.
