“Excellent Location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

We traded into this resort through RCI and could not believe it was actually on Disney property. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom condo that could sleep 8 but was more fitted for 6 due to seating in living room and at table. The shuttle schedule to Disney is great but we drove our own car as they charged $5 per person and since there was three of us it was cheaper to pay to park. The resort had wonderful amenities and activities for those who wished to participate. The pools were lovely but we did not get to use them as we spent our time in Disney. Only had 2 problems: 1) our room was not ready when we got there at 4:30. The clerk told us that check in can run anywhere from 4 until 6 pm. 2) The resort opens a room on the 7th floor in Tower 1 from which you can see the Epcot fireworks however on the night we went, the guard was late opening the door so we missed some of the display.

I have stayed at this resort a couple of times and would recommend it to any one who wants to stay near Disney and have lots of room for the whole family. We had a great experience except when we checked in they gave us a room that was not up to our expectations since we had stayed there before and we knew they had much better rooms that the one the gave us. We called right away and we were told they did not have any other open rooms. The next day we talked to a manager and he said he would move us. We had already paid 2 housekeeping fees because we had a combined reservation. We then got 2 more calls from someone else at the front desk demanding we pay another 100.00 dollars for housekeeping. Had they moved us right away there would have been no need for the second housekeeping and we had paid for the second already. I told them they needed to speak to the manager. I was so glad I had not given them my credit card because I am sure they would have charged it a couple of times. Once that was taken care of we had a great time in a wonderful room overlooking the lazy river...not the parking lot. The rooms are very comfortable and the resort is beautiful. Activities for the kids and some for the adults. Free shuttle to Disney, and close to everything. Love the resort did not love the service from the last visit. Ask which direction your room is facing be going to your room if it matters to you. Go to Walmart and get food if you are planning to stay for a few days and take advantage of the full kitchen. The food at the resort is pricey and not that great. The suday bar in the afternoons is a treat.

We love our visits to Bonnet Creek. The resort sits around a lake with wonderful suites in 6 towers. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was most pleasing. Pools, lazy rivers and places to eat abound. The resort is beautifully landscaped. Double swings are found on a path around the lake. We spent many a moment sitting and swinging and holding hands (and we are seniors!!). The staff was friendly and helpful. Families galore enjoyed the facilities. Did I say we were right next to the Disney World Resort properties and that shuttles served them?

Room Tip: Higher floors may allow you to see Epcot and Magic Kingdom nighttime fireworks.

We rented through an owner and got a great price for a two bedroom condo for the week, I was a little nervous. I heard to request the newer towers 4-6. When I got there I was assigned Tower 2. I felt a little shafted but once we got to the room, I was thrilled. It is beautiful! The pool near Tower two is also great! It has a ton of room and is in the sun all day (there is also a waterslide here). Our little kids (2 and 4 ) loved this place as well, there is a kiddie pool, a splash park adn a playground all on site as well. At night you can see the fireworks from the grounds (we watched them from the pool area one night). They also told me they open a suite in Tower 1 every night and let anyone come up to view the fireworks if they please (we never did this but thought it was a good option if you didn't get a Fireworks view). There are a bunch of little beach bars and restaurants on site but you can also bring down your own drinks in cups or cans (no glass). There are grills onsite as well so we stocked up on Burgers and dogs and had some cheap easy lunches while hanging at the pools. Lots of wildlife too (ducks, birds, turltes, fish). This was one of the best family trips we have taken and I really loved this resort. We did get a couple of annoying phone calls (late at night too 10 and 11:30!) so after that I unplugged the phone at night. They do offer a shuttle but we had rented a minivan and just drove everywhere. Downtown disney is only 5 minutes down the street for shopping and dining. Do not go to Goodings Grocery Store - it was overpriced and the food was pretty gross. There is a 24 hour Walmart not far and the front desk will give you a list of all the other grocery stores in the area if you plan on shopping. One other thing i liked about the resort is they had activities everyday, for the kids and adults, from pool games to bouncy houses and ice cream socials and each day they alternated where the entertainment was . It seemed each day they had live music at one of the pools too which was nice to hear while sitting out. All and all a great vacation!

Room Tip: We had tower two and it was awesome. Great pool here too.

This is in the park, yet not a Disney property. They have shuttles to the parks though we opted for a rental. The 2 bedroom condo was amazing for our party of 5 (husband, myself, mother in law and kids ages 3 and 4). The amnesties were fantastic, lazy river, water slides. Pack a cooler of your own or belly up to the pool area bars, either way spending some much needed down time at the resort was relaxing and fun! The restaurants on site were also great. We most enjoyed grilling out at the many lakeside grills:) we rented a car and hit up Publix on our way from the airport which was a great convenience, but if you don't have a car, garden grocer delivers. Hands down, a great experience, I've stayed at the Disney resorts (deluxe and moderate) and they pale in comparison.

We have stayed here two times now (2012 & 2013) and as a family have had wonderful vacations. We had a 2 bedroom deluxe condo with plenty of space will a full kitchen, 2 baths, laundry. The units were clean and quiet. Everything within the resort is easy to get to by walking. The pools, lazy river, playground and activities were a huge hit with our family when we weren't at Disney. We had a rental car both times so we didn't have to worry about the shuttles to the parks. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because parking could get a bit tricky coming home after a late night at the parks. The other reason is we traveled with another family and wanted to be close by and it was a long check-in because they kept telling us that we couldn't get into the same tower. Eventually we did get into the same tower just three floors apart. We would still return back to this resort in a heartbeat!

Just returned from a great stay here with extended family. From beginning to end, service was great. Rooms are well furnished with proper household utensils if you choose to cook in your unit. Also....lots of pools, waterslides, etc for kids and adults alike. With lunch and adult beverages readily accessible poolside, no reason to go anywhere else. But, all Disney attractions are right next door. If you go here, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Had fourth floor end-unit room in Tower 3. Quiet and peaceful...couldn't have been better. Only...
