“Loved It!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

This is a beautiful resort! We really enjoyed all aspects of it. We had a 2 bedroom condo with views of Disney fireworks. The location is amazing: 5 mins to Downtown Disney or Blizzard Beach, 10 mins to Sea World, 15 mins to Universal Orlando.

My only negative to report is that they try to sell you a timeshare....very annoying. They were high pressure on that when I checked in, and then called about it a couple of times.

Room Tip: Building 5 has views of Disney fireworks.

We stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for a week in April. It was perfect! I have two boys 9 and 11 and there was so much to do! They loved the pools-especially the Pirate Ship pool. The nice thing about it was you could stand in almost the entire pool. The slide was great (kinda scary!). The staff kept the kids busy with tons of activities like splash contests. The kids loved miniature golf, ping pong, checkers, the arcade and the Xbox / Wii room. Also fun to walk around the lake and watch the loon birds hunt for fish. For those of you whose kids play Call of Duty and Modern Warfare. fyi-they don't allow those kind if games. They had a movie rental machine (red box like) in the lobby. All rooms have DVD players. Each night at 9:00 pm you can see the fireworks from Disney. there is a room in one of the hotels set up for viewing fireworks every night. The kids had a blast!
We could not have been happier with the rooms, (apartments). We had a 2 bedroom unit on the 5th floor of building 4. It was nice and quiet at night and a good location in between the pirate pool and the lobby. The rooms were sparkling clean, well equipt and had the perfect layout and really looked like the pictures! it was amazing to have a kitchen and washer and dryer! Also parents get their own room!
The mistake we made was not renting a car on the first day. Breakfast at the resort was $50 for take out! Renting a car and going to a grocery store on the first day is a must. Publix is closer but Super Target is more fun! You will save hundreds of dollars that way.
My only warning is to beware of the staff telling trying to sell you timeshares. After you check in they immediately pass you on to someone who makes you think they are a concierge but they are really trying to give you discounted tickets to the parks so you will take their tour and go to the breakfast. Don't let them take up your time! They will call you each day to try to invite you again. We said no each time. Other then that it was an amazing resort with tons to do! Would come back again for sure!

I am a Wyndham owner and have been to countless Wyndham properties. This resort is amazing. Especially if you have children. There is so much to do that it doesn't matter you are smack dab in the middle of Disney World property. In the middle of Magic Kingdom, Disney Studios, Downtown Disney, Epcot Center....with a shuttle that takes you to all!!!! 7 or 8 buildings placed around a lovely small lake with 2 fountains. Every building has something....either one of the two waterslides, or one of the 2 lazy rivers, mini golf, sand volley ball court, playground and water adventure for the little ones. Pools at each building. 2 large bar-b-q areas with large gas grills. Restaurants scattered here and there with a beautiful walkway to walk from building to building around the lake. This would have gotten 5 stars, but the staff was not as friendly and accomodating as usual with Wyndham properties. Not rude, but maybe it was cause it was spring break. Usually Wyndham employees bend over backward to accomodate. But we were taken care of.....if you know what I mean. Rooms were beautiful, but not as nice as some Wyndham properties I have stayed. But your kids will love you....if you can make arrangements to stay here!!!!!

Room Tip: It is always good to get there early...and it never hurts to tip the person at the front desk....the...

First of all, let me say that I am usually a solid fan of Marriott Brand, so it was a stretch to stay at the Wyndham, but I had a conference nearby and this was the only hotel available. I was so pleasantly surprised! It was fantastic, with very good staff, terrific decor and a completely comfortable room. Everything was perfect and the food onsite was good as well! I highly recommend this hotel if you are near Disney World and don't want to be in the thick of things as it is less than a few miles away from Disney Village and the entrance to Magic Kingdom.

We recently stayed in bldg 5 (I requested at check in and a very nice young lady accommodated us) for 6 nights over spring break. After a dozen or so stays at various resorts in the Orlando area, we've finally found what we've been searching for! We reserved a 2 bedroom deluxe through a private owner on VRBO. Yes, we were skeptical and nervous doing this, but we had no problems whatsoever. The condo was spacious and immaculate, and we are very picky! The resort is large, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the pools clean with plenty of lounge chairs. We would definitely return!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it was just great. Very clean and spacious it passed my white glove test. The resort has many wonderful amenities. Location is great. Would certainly return for another great vacation. If you get a chance to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Happy Traveler

Stayed here in February for 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids. This place is in a great location. Super easy access to all Disney parks. Had the room with separate space for kids with bunk beds and view over the pool. If you can get the pool view side of the building you'll love it. Great view of Epcot fire works at night!
Not quite the Disney service but not bad service and for the money you get a MUCH bigger and nicer room than you would get at a disney resort.
