This Hilton Grand Vacation resort is beautiful. Our family truly enjoys visiting the Hilton Grand Vacation resorts in Orlando and we haven't been dissappointed! We always like to spoil ourselves on vacation & these resorts fit our needs. The rooms are clean, with beautiful updated interiors. Our 1 bedroom unit came with a full kitchen including full size refrigerator, oven fully stocked cabinets w/ kitchen necessitites, washer/dryer & little balcony w/ a patio set. This type of unit includes a king size bed (extremely comfortable) in a private room with a door, 1 very roomy bathroom w/ jacuzzi/shower. It also includes a living area with a pull out sofa in a queen size bed. The kids slept on the pull out sofa bed & didn't seem to mind at all. The sofa bed is heavy duty, I tried to move it & it wouldn't budge. This size room was perfect for us having 2 teens w/ us & a 2 yr old. Having a washer/dryer in the room is fantastic when you have kids. Although there isn't any housekeeping for owners that stay 3 nights or more, you can ask for anything you need for the room & it'll be delivered to your room shortly; including more clean towels & laundry detergent. It was no big deal for us to wash our towels, so we had plenty of towels all the time. The pools are beautiful and there's also a heated jaccuzi near the pool area. The game room for the kids is also great. We really enjoyed our burgers and margaritas at the pool area the day we arrived which was great. I would recommend this if you're arriving early, since the rooms won't be available closer to 4pm. The kids loved the pool & their burgers while we enjoyed a margarita while we watched them run around the pool and water fall areas. The front desk called us on our cell phone when our room was ready which was nice. The mini deli/market has a few room supplies, wine, starbucks coffee & breakfast sandwhiches freshly made. You can sit in the deli area & enjoy the breakfast sandwhiches & starbucks coffe, we did this one morning & it was nice. For the most part we brought supplies & had breakfast in our room. The hotel grounds are extremely clean & the staff is always very kind. We had free wi-fi in our room, not sure if this is an owners amenity. The bathroom is The parks are probably about a 10-15 minute drive, and we always come with a car which is fine for us. Parking at the parks is between $15 & $20 per car/day, not bad- we would probably bypass the shuttle service if it was offered just for the convenience of coming & going when we want to. The parking fees really aren't THAT bad at the parks. Switch your GPS to avoid highways & you'll bypass alot of the traffic on I4. There are plenty of great restaurants around the Orlando area, probably a 10-15 minute drive again due to traffic lights, but most restaurants are probably about a 6 mile drive. Not bad if you have you're own car. The only thing I would add to the resort is a nice restaurant. We'd like to be able to stay in & eat if we didn't feel like going out of the resort. I would give the resort 5 stars w/ a restaurant & shuttle service to accomodate guests without a car. It does however seem that most guests arrive in their car since taxi service isn't very popular around here. I almost forgot to mention, the outlet malI is walking distance which is great for shoppers!! A final note, my sister stayed in a studio unit which included a king size bed & 1/2 size kitchen. This unit was definitely extremely small, I would definitely consider a one bedroom unit regardless if I were traveling with children. If you can afford it or have the available points to spare, chose the one bedroom unit it's, a much better choice. In my opinion, this is extremely close to a 5 star resort & I would definitely come back!
