Out of astonishing number of Japanese restaurants I have been in the US, "Teppan Edo" is the place that provides real Japanese hospitality so that you can enjoy not only Japanese cuisine, Teppan Yaki, but also experiencing Japanese way of guest service.
Some of the good appetizers I tried are as follows;
Edamame - young soy beans $4.50
Shrimp Cocktail - with wasabi cocktail sauce $6.50. The sauce was really good
Shrimp Cocktail came in the black paper box folded beautifully we could take it to home for the souvenir.
They also has Kids Menu so some of the guest commuted with us was having the Udon noodles and steamed rice for their children.
I had combination menu Nihonbashi-sirloin steak and chicken breast $28.00 for myself. The taste was as good as other Teppan Yaki places in the US, however, the chef and other staff's entertained us by performing the bowing and acting with the knives and food right in front of us by the Teppan. We had a great time. Only disadvantage was that it took almost one hour to finish the dinner.
