“What are all the bad reviews about?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We were in the Magic Kingdom very recently and I had reserved a spot at the 1900 Park Fare restaurant located in the Grand Floridian. We took a small boat across the lake from the park to the hotel. Once inside, there was a line to wait for the restaurant to open. In the meantime, you can get your picture taken with your family. After the doors open, the buffet begins! I absolutely loved the food- they had everything from seafood to Mediterranean to salads and more. The waiters and chef were very kind and helpful towards one of my family members that has many allergies. After 15 minutes, Prince Charming came out and everyone was able to meet with him. Then Cinderella, Lady Tremaine (the stepmothers), Anastasia and Drizella (the stepsisters). The characters were amazing! They stay and chat with you for a while; my favorites were the stepmother and Anastasia. Afterwards they waltz with some children and celebrate whoever has a birthday soon.

In the end, we paid nearly $120.00 for three people (two pre-teens and one adult), including tax and tip. What I didn't like was the tip... the suggested tip was 20%...! But the dinner was great and the kids had an amazing experience that they will never forget. After the dinner, we left on the monorail to the Magic Kingdom once again. :)

“Paying to see the Princess”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

This is basically an overpriced meet and greet with Cinderella. We went for diner on July 4th and the food was terrible. The choices are very limited and most people where opting to eat from the kids buffet (pizza and mac&cheese). I'd really like to say it was good, but it just wasn't!! If you want to spend money for all you can eat..Ohanas is a much better choice for your $$$. Maybe the breakfast buffet is better, since you really can't mess up bacon/eggs and waffles.

“Wonderful buffet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

The food is great better than a lot of other buffets on property. The characters were quite fun. I have kids from 5 to 16, they each had a great time.

“You are paying for the characters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Food was very good. Not excellent and I truly did not believe it was worth the price. However, it was worth it to meet Prince Charming and the Stepmother. The Stepmother is by far the most interactive experience ever. She fit her role to a T. My girls went to hold her hand and she was repulsed. I loved it. They also went to give fist bumps and acted as if she had no idea what was going on and needed to be taught. Again, repulsed by my kids. I loved it.

If they have it, try the strawberry soup. Delightful. My husband enjoyed the food a lot but the food was so rich with spices both of our stomachs paid for it later.

If I was to get a little picky, I thought the décor was a bit blah. Disney is usually so detail oriented that I thought it was just okay.

Oh, and they have this table cleaner/setter that is amazing, He works so fast and so many people were amazed by him that they recorded his handy work.

“Dinning with the step sisters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

A nice fun character dinning event we meet Cinderella the Prince Lady Tremain and the step sisters. The Photo pass picture here wasn't that great No characters in the picture on a background. Buffet style meal which beat the castle meal by a long shot Roast beef, ham, shrimp and lots of other selections Dessert station was really good Ice cream, cookies various tarts and cheese cake. The step sisters were the high light. They were hilarious. Loved it and will be back.
