“Not just a great dinner but a great dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I had dinner here a couple of weeks ago on a referral from the hotel we were staying at and it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our waiter Eduardo was not only quite knowledgeable about the menu but also very educated with the wine list. The calamari appetizer we started with was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We both had the Filet Minion which was so tender you did not even have to chew it. You just put a piece in your mouth and it melted. Somehow we saved room for a lite desert and went with the Lemon Cello. It was a perfect sweet ending to a fantastic dining experience. We are both looking forward to coming back to Vito's Chop House the next time we come to Orlando.

“Great service, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

I went to Vito's with a group of 8 people who were in Orlando for the Florida Realtor's conference. We started in the bar until we could all meet and the bartender was nice, but not particularly attentive. We met at 6:15 pm and the bar was not yet busy, so I was surprised that we had a hard time finding her as other people in our party arrived.

The server for our table was excellent. He was there when we needed him, but not obtrusive. For dinner, a friend and I shared the Tuna Tar Tare. It was quite tasty and a good-sized portion for an appetizer. I ordered the Filet Mignon with Bernaise sauce and a side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce for my entree. The Filet was prepared to order and seasoned quite well. My disappointment was with the sauces. They didn't have the quality of taste that I would have expected in this restaurant. I also got salad-envy when a friend of mine was served his Caesar salad. I asked it they had a true anchovy dressing on the salad because the freshness of the lettuce looked terrific. He said he had ordered it because he thought they would have a great dressing, but said it tasted like it was just made with the anchovy paste. Oh well, it was good, but it wasn't great...

“Excellent steak”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

Best steak I have had in Florida. Unfortunately only large portions, 12 oz or better. A little pricy, but worth it. Sides cost extra and service was great. They do not a sirloin or New York Strip, but the filet and porterhouse were to die for. BTW try the terimiso it blew me away!

“fine dining at reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Just as you would wish. Friendly staff, good food and pleasant to sit in and enjoy a meal. Service was well paced and the show and tell of the cuts of steak before you choose and deserts by CIS torches interesting. The food was perfect

“Excellent for 15 years”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Every time we visit Orlando, we eat here. Great steaks, service, and desserts. They gave us free samples of the lobster bisque. If you go to the national steak joints you will pay almost double. If your a fan of those steak joints then try Vito's. They don't act like high pressure car salesman trying to sell you a rewards card (the Palm). hint hint
