You get you pay for. The food is eatable but its no guy savoy. It is very fairly priced and a great place to take your children. this place is engineered for kids. If you are a couple with no kids i do not suggest Sweet tomatoes. There is a large buffet which is filled with "okay" food. there are much better restaurants in Orlando.

We were worried that Sweet Tomatoes would be too laden with sprouts and granola for our family of meat lovers, but our kids voted it their favorite restaurant of our week-long trip! I wish we had the Sweet Tomatoes chain in Michigan! There are two locations in Orlando. We went to the restaurant at the corner of International Drive and Kirkman Road. The restaurant was clean, bright and bustling. Service was fast and friendly. The make-your-own salad bar was the biggest I've seen. The prepared salads, soups (8 varieties), pasta dishes, breads and deserts were all great. Several of the soups and salads contained beef, chicken and seafood. We tried just about everything and loved it all. Don't miss the chili! Our bill for 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 12) was about $36--a fantastic value for Orlando. Your kids will love this!

My husband and I decided to eat at Sweet Tomatoes based on a reccommendation from friend. We normally avoid buffets but were willing to try it.

I was impressed by the quality and freshness of the salad bar and amount of choices. The variety of soups were also delicious - we enjoyed the cream of broccoli.

The overall price was great -- about $8/per adult w/out drink. The wait staff was friendly and attentive to take any un-needed dishes.

We have visited the USA on several occassions now & i must say that Sweet Tmotoes is the best value to date.
The salad bar seems to go on forever & is such a refreshing change from the Steakhouses stodgy food.
If you are anything like me walking away from the salad bar Head held high, food held even higher for all to see how good i am being watching my calories.
To be closely followed by a slivver down the cake & Icecream section.

The cakes are scrumsious & the icecream is a nice plate filler with an array of toppings.
Even managed to finish off the Kids desserts so i didn,t have to be seen going back for seconds.
Re-fillable drinks where ideal for filling the childrens bottles on our ride back to the Disney resort.
The restuarant is not too fussy if the kids make a mess & the tables are cleared exceptionally quickly.
We went at various times of the day & even though it was sometimes very busy we never had to wait long for a clean table.
We used to go to Sizzlers for breakfast & Sweet tomatoes for tea/Supper.
If anybody knows better please let me know as we are returning to Orlano in September.
