We have visited the Cheesecake Factory multiple times in various cities and states and generally have a good experience. We visited on Monday, June 24 @ 915 PM. We waited 15-20 minutes for a table which was very acceptable. Our waitress (Rebecca G) came to the table in a timely fashion and returned with drinks. So far so good. She advised us the bread would take a bit as hard to keep it in supply.
We ordered our meals (meatloaf, breakfast burrito, 4 cheese pasta, and Bang Bang Shrimp and Chicken). The food was delivered in a more or less reasonable time. However the meatloaf dish, which has mashed potatoes and gravy literally had cold potatoes and the meatloaf was barely warm.
We informed the male staff member that delivered the second two dishes two us. He was a bit indifferent about it but took the plate back. The second dish delivery (containing the burrito) was not overly warm either but we decided to keep it given the time of night and overall length of time things were starting to take.
A manager stopped by to check on us, apologized and we informed him of the second dish but we would simply eat it as is as we did not want to wait longer. We then ordered cheesecake to go...it took about 10-15 minutes for this to come back and the store was more or less empty by this time. We overheard the table behind us indicate they had issues with their meal as well.
Bill came and no type of acknowledgment of the service issue. We were not asking for or expecting any free meal but when you pay for a service of eating out, it includes not just the food but the fees for preparing it, etc. When you do not get that service you would reasonably anticipate some sort of adjustment for the lack of service. It was not offered and we do not ask for it but reflect it in our tip. Unfortunately for Rebecca, her service was good but the overall experience was not. So we left a note for management they needed to adjust the bill to give her the tip as the issue is between them now vs. us and wait staff or management. I left a note that a trip advisor review would be posted and hope they take the time to respond to it.
