“Good french food!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

We were a party of 15 (6 adults and 9 children). Took some extra time to the waiters to bring all the food together but it worth it.
We had almost everything that was in the menu so we had the opportunity to try.
The baguette, chesses, pates, charcuterie, Kisch Loraine, supe de ognion, salad, hamburguer, pasta, chicken, ice cream, mousse au chocolat, creme brulee, etc.
Everything was above average with that little french touch that makes these food so special.

“Serving up everything...including a big helping of prententiousness!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

One of the first mistakes this restaurant makes is treating all of its patrons like googly-eyed and uneducated tourists. I realize it is a restaurant located in a theme park, but if the staff offered even a bit of courtesy, they might realize not all of us are annoying morons.

Myself and two friends chose to dine at this location upon recommendation from the Disney staff. We were seated at a nice table, and we looked around. The place was a little bit dusty here and there, but there weren't any glaring issues (until we met our waiter.)

We ordered a bottle of wine, and we all ordered our entrées. The waiter seemed as though he couldn't be bothered serving us. The waiter brought us out some amuse bouche (aka tiny "one bite" starts to our meal.) Large chunks of cucumber with salmon mouse topped with a cracked pepper cold shrimp. One of the members of our party is allergic to shellfish and could not eat his so he politely moved the small serving dish away from him. When the waiter came back to collect our dishes, he withdrew his hand and said he would not remove the dishes until the third member of our party ate his amuse bouche as it was an "insult to the chef." Before he had a chance to explain WHY he had not eaten it, the waiter was gone.

That incident set the entire tone for dinner to the extent that we couldn't wait to get our meals, eat, and leave.

Our entrées were brought out to us. My dish was a chicken dish wrapped with mushrooms and topped with a mushroom sauce. It was terribly DRY. It was obvious the chicken had been overcooked and had been spending its night under a heat lamp in a metal pan, drying out. The "mushroom sauce" couldn't save it. The other two members of our party were equally as "satisfed" with their dishes.

The waiter hurriedly brought us our bill without asking about dessert or how our meal was. We paid, and we left. Never before have I had such awful service and DRY overpriced food. "The chef would be insulted?" The chef should be ashamed.

“Fine food, great service and Remy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

We choose Le Chef’s for lunch so that our granddaughter could see Remy. Le Chef’s is a welcomed respite from the hustle and bustle of epcot. It is air conditioned and very relaxing. This was our third dining experience here and once again we were not disappointed. The menu provided selections to please every member of our group. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were freshly prepared; presentation was a feast to the eyes and taste a delight to the palate. The highest point of the meal for our granddaughter was to see Remy, and for us be a moment we will always cherish! Le Chef’s is one of epcot’s finest and should not be missed.

“Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

The atmosphere was nice, our waiter Matthieu was attentive and did not need to be asked for refills, plates were removed promptly. His English was fine and I would have been highly disappointed had he not been French. The food was very good, price was in the average range as other Disney restaurants. We were on the Disney Meal Plan and it really is better than paying as you go. Less sticker shock.
Remy is a wonderful addition to your meal. He is at your table long enough for pictures and the waiter pushing his cart was funny. It was our fist time at Chefs, we will go again.

“Never Again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

I expected a lot more being that this restaurant is on Disney property. It was awful. The service was just ok. The food was awful. We came here specifically to celebrate my son's birthday and see Remy make an appearance due to a recommendation made by someone we know. They said that Remy spent a good 10-15 minutes just at there table. I think Remy made an appearance at our table for less than 2 minutes. The gentleman pushing him around was nice, but seemed to be in a hurry.
The food left a lot to be desired. I tried to stick with something simple and safe - roast chicken and it was dry and flavorless. My mom ordered the creme brulee for dessert and said that it was very burnt tasting. We decided to go to the French bakery for dessert and skip the restaurant dessert. Not much better of a choice. The food, service, and overall cleanliness of Epcot's attractions have gone down hill. Very disappointing.
