We dined here in October 2013. The food, service and ambience were excellent, you need to be open to try different foods. From some of the tables you can see the animals outside. I agree with a previous reviewer, that you have to have your ID (either US driving licence or passport) if you want to buy alcoholic drinks at any WDW restaurant or bar. Our son and daughter aged 27 and 25 got asked for ID every time they wanted alcohol. Which is a pain coming from UK as you have to take the risk of carrying your passport everywhere. However, the choice of teas is very good. I also agree with her comments about transport to Animal Kingdom Lodge from another WDW hotel. We travelled from Port Orleans via Downtown Disney and it took about an hour. The other alternative is a taxi - about $20 each way. However, it is worth arriving early and looking around the hotel as it is lovely, with an outdoor viewing area to see the animals and interesting shop. Please note that if you are on the Dining plan, it is 2 credits per person and I think it is worth it.
