“Unbelievable food and service - awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

A taste of Africa. The wine was fabulous. The food was fabulous. The service was fabulous. The waitstaff knows the food inside and out Many vegan options. Dinner for family of 5 was $360 - ouch. But worth it for a special treat. This is the BEST restaurant we have ever eaten at in Disney.

“A dinner to remember”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Our family of four ended our Disney vacation with a dinner at Jiko's. We were on the Disney dining plan. Jiko's requires two credits per person but we found that to be well worth it. First off, Jiko's doesn't rush the experience. You don't feel like you are being pushed out of the door.
We were taken care of by Dawn. She was extremely knowledgeable of the food and would make recommendations on both food and wine. A fine desert ended a perfect meal.

“Can't wait to go back here!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Jiko! The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was great, it was very different to what we would normally eat but I couldn't fault anything. We are going back to Florida this year and are defiantly eating here again. Highly recommended!

“Great service,wines and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

This is a beautiful spot.the service by our server Marty was top notch. He knew the menu, but more importantly knew the wines which are all South African .He let us taste wines, directed us and gave us great choices. The apps were all African, great spices and very well presented. The monkfish was great. The duck was different than had before not as duck tasting. Overall a very nice dining experience.

“Amazing, do not miss this!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

My husband and I booked this as a special treat and it was completely amazing. The decor is very warm and gives a relaxed but classy atmosphere. Our server was very polite and helpful with every question we had.

The food was outstanding. I had the Artisan Cheese selection to start, which was really tasty and i would love to have again. For a main i had the scallops. I was concerned as they said they were brushed in jerk marinade, which i know can be very spicy and i dont like hot food. But i figured scallops were delicate and they would know what they are doing, and im so pleased i trusted in that as they were possibly one of the best dishes i have eaten! My husband had filet mignon, which he said was his best meal of the holiday. I could go on...

The wine selection is vast and there is a range of price options to suit.

I was concerned about the dress code and wore a maxi dress and smart flip flops, which was completely fine. There were some people in 'park touring' clothes seated without issue.

Do not expect this to be a cheap meal. 3 courses and wine cost us $200 for 2 people. But i would really suggest pushing the boat out as it was a meal we will long remember, and happily go back for!
