Oh well, we enjoyed the House of Blues.
No, it's nothing like a restaurant in New Orleans or the Bayou really and the food is only a passing hint of the fantastic cuisine that you can get down there but in comparison to many of the restaurants in Downtown Disney - or indeed the parks themselves - we thought it was above average.
The atmosphere is quite funky - our teenagers loved it - they felt it was very cool. Our server was good - friendly and helpful.
We shared a spinach and artichoke hot dip to start together with chips and salsa and it was very good. I really like spinach and artichoke dip and this was a good one.
We also had the calamari and this was good too - plenty of it and tasty.
My husband had the grilled Flatiron steak salad for his main course and it was absolutely delicious - really superb. I am going to try that one myself. It was outstanding.
The rest of us had burgers and they were huge and very good and came fully loaded.
It cost us far far less than a later meal at Wolfgang Pucks next door which was disgusting beyond belief and with terrible service.
