We were staying inside the DisneyWorld 'lands' ...and the closest thing we saw were the crappy all you can chinese buffetts. As someone coming from Vancouver, BC (Canada) - where there's a huge chinese population, with really really good Chinese restaurants, we're not into 'fake chinese' food that's served in bulk. So after some googling and reading reviews on this restuarant from TripAdvisor, we decided to make the 35 min drive out. Trust me, totally worth it. The quality was really good and the price was very decent, dinner for 8 people came about $90+tip. Considering all you eat on International BLVD - was about $6-8/person ... Chan's was really good, we had steamed Tiliapia that was perfect, not overcooked like many restaurants and they had good 'wok hay' - if you don't know what that means, then don't worry about ;) The only thing that was kind'a odd was because it was so good, there were still only 4 tables of people in the restaurant, 2 tables of 10-12, and then Us and another table of 2. I was surprised it wasn't busier for a Friday night (Week of Sept 25th). The waitress/owner's wife also gave our little nephew a freebie Mango pudding because he was so cute! score!! The servers are fluent in canto & mandarin.
Bottom Line - If you are missing some chinese in your diet and are far from home and are willing to make the trek out, this place is awesome. Plus - the bonus part is you get to drive through a bit of "little vietnam" getting to the place.
