“Food good, hibachi chef boring”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

The food was great! The servers took care of my group without hesitation and was very polite. The hibachi chef cooked our food with no issues. He just didn't brighten up the atmosphere like most hibachi chefs. The kids were not very entertained and I was disappointed with his performance.

“Birthday Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Very good sushi rolls, I had the caterpillar roll and the sumo. The teppanyaki table was excellent. My sweetheart had the Splash and Meadow, which is steak and colossal shrimp.....Delish

Good food, good service, servers were able to make quality recommendations for first time diners, or those not experienced with teppanyaki dining.

“End of vacation birthday party celebration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

My 6th visit or maybe more - this is by far my favourite Benihana.

The table chefs are always excellent - portions are very generous. We'd always recommend getting a selection of meats and asking the chef to share them around.

We love the soup, salad, ah....the fried rice, scallop, shrimp, steak....all perfect.

The Japanese birthday song makes it a little bit special.

Don't forget to get you car park stamped at the restaurant.

“Sushi-lover's delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

We ate here twice on this visit to Disney World. The restaurant is in the Hilton across the street from Downtown Disney. There were many people waiting for a seat at a teppanyaki table, so we opted for a table in the other part of the restaurant. Our granddaughter missed the show with the chef, but was rewarded with a fine meal.

We got there early enough for happy hour the first evening, and were amazed at the bargains to be had during this time. Marilyn and Elaine were our waitresses and were most hospitable and interesting. They hail from the Philippines and Peru, respectively. The restaurant manager showed considerable interest in his customers as he toured the facility, talking to the diners.

We love sushi and made the most of our visit. It was delicious. We took our time and were not rushed. Our 12-year-old granddaughter, who cannot get enough sushi and sashimi was overjoyed.

The restaurant has a similar menu to other Benihanas; the difference we noticed here, was the atmosphere and cordiality of the staff.
