Description: Citricos restaurant brings the cuisine of southern Europe to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Citricos chefs rotate dinner selections frequently for a focused menu of American dishes inspired by the cuisine of Provençe, Tuscany and the Spanish Riviera—such as steaks seared on an oak-filled grill, creative risotto, pastas, and seafood depending on the season. The main dining room is airy and decorated with hues of yellow and orange. Old-world furnishings, wrought-iron railings and mosaic-tile floors contribute to the warm Mediterranean décor. Located on the second floor of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, windows near select tables in Citricos provide a phenomenal view of the courtyard. Other tables allow you to peer into the bustling show kitchen. Meet the Head Chef at Citricos Restaurant. The Chef's Domain at Citricos Restaurant: For an exclusive gourmet dining event that brings you even closer to the action on the culinary stage, reserve The Chef's Domain at Citricos. Diners at The Chef's Domain may order from the traditional menu or choose to have the chef create a menu for them in a private dining room that seats up to 12 Guests. The Chef's Domain has one seating daily at 6:00 p.m.; reserve early.

“Nice time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

We had a lovely dinner while visiting WDW. I started with a great glass of champagne, and we shared the arancini appetizer. Ok, we each could have had one - it was small to share - but very tasty! I had the short ribs. They are served with trofie pasta (sort of like a smaller version of gemelli) and the sauce was very good. Short ribs were fork-tender. Partner had steak filet and said it was quite good. We ended with lemon-scented cheesecake and gelato sampling. Both were delicious. It was a slow evening on a Wednesday, and we were seated in the quieter back room. Service was very good. We would go back!

“Delightful experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Once a very noisy group left the bar for their private room, the evening was delightful. I enjoyed the meal more than the meal we had the same week at V&A! The waiter was charming and most accommodating! Do reserve this restaurant--one of the very best!

“Quality and value have diminished.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We were very disappointed. We love getting dressed up for dinner and having a relaxing meal and enjoying the experience of a finer dining restaurant. We announced that we were celebrating our anniversary and requested a quiet table but were instead seated next to a large party with four children under five years old. Another large table nearby had several small children who barely sat down during our stay. While Disney is in general a family oriented destination, we felt that our family of two was ignored. It is a shame that for almost $300 (with a bottle of wine) we did not have a good experience. We had a much better experience at Jiko. Quiet, great food and wine and service.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

My husband and I were staying at the Grand Floridian and we were lucky enough to be there on a slow night and able to walk right in without a reservation - not usually the case. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. The wine list is extensive. Make sure you save room for dessert. The warm chocolate banana tort with hand-made chocolate crown is a fun way to end a wonderful dining experience.

“Lovely”

Citricos is a great restariant. You could watch the fireworks and eat. Service was good and the food was wonderful. It is a bit fancy but it is a great place to eat.
