We visted Whispering Canyon for 2 dinner meals and 1 breakfast meal. We did not book reservations for either of our visits. Our wait time to be seated for dinner was under 10 minutes. We have our dinnertime around 500pm. Our first visit we had the all you can eat skillet- $30 per person. The skillet is a meat lovers skillet- corn bread, salad, corn, mashed potato, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, carved beef, ribs. The food was tasty. I enjoyed the carved beef, the mashed potatoes and the salad most. the salad contained walnuts and either diced pear or diced apple. Out meal, including drinks came to just over $100. Our breakfast visit 2 had the all you can eat skillet. Cost is 16.50 per person. It contained scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, country biscuit, hashbrown potatos and sausage gravy. My daughter had a plate of pancakes. Including drinks breakfast cost us approx $60. better to just eat breakfast at Roaring Fork, same food less price. Our 2nd dinner visit we ordered individual meals from the menu. I had the NY steak with mini roasted potatos. we had the rainbow trout which came with mini roasted potatos and a bland salad. We ordered the kids fish of the day ( Salmon). The salmon lacked taste, my child did not enjoy to eat. The meal came with corn bread which was very good. Our 2nd dinner cost approx $100. The meal was presented nicely. The steak and the rainbow trout was very good. The service was very good. Seated in the main dining room you enjoy the servers antics. It does get loud. i would say it is too loud during breakfast time. You can also be seated in a quieter section of the restaurant, which faces the hallway leading to the Roaring Fork.
