I walked into the restuarant at 1:55 pm, and they refused to sit me at a table because they closed at 2 pm...Emeril is obviously not paying attention to his Orlando restuarants because they are both highly disappointing!!! Don't even waste your time going there...

Visited on 3/12/2006. Having been to a few of Emeril's restaurants (New Orleans, Vegas and Emeril's Orlando) this one is forgettable. I had been to Tchoup Chop about a year earlier and was not that impressed then either. My wife had not been and wanted to try it and I hoped it may have improved. The service is good, but not on par with Emeril's other locations. The food however was really just average on both visits. I have tried the seafood and most recently the NY strip. The steak was better than the fish, but go to any reputable Orlando steakhouse (Charley's or Del Friscos) for better quality steak. The desserts are not even worth trying, had the pecan pie and it was nothing special. If your staying at the resort maybe a good choice one night, but you can find better in Orlando.

My husband and I recently had dinner at Tchoup Chop. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the pool in the center is very relaxing. The service was impeccable and we both loved the food. We had the Dumpling Box, Calamari, New York Strip Steak, Hawaiian Style Dinner Plate and for dessert the Banana Cream Pie and Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Ginger Ice Cream. It was all excellent. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

As you can see by the pictures, the ambience of the restaurant is very nice. The menu selection was fusion asian hawaiian american.
