“"You can't go wrong with Italian..." NOT!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2011

We went there on a Saturday night and the atmosphere and the service was good.
We didn't have to wait for a table and the server was attentive and the food came out quickly... Then, it all went down-hill... We were hungry and did not want to wait 30 minutes for a deep-dish pizza (mistake #1). Instead, we ordered the appetizer sampler (mistake #2), bruschetta (mistake #3), a salad, a meatball sub (mistake #4), and fettuccine alfredo (mistake #5). The appetizer sampler was dry, tasteless, and had too much breading. The bruschetta had way too much vinegar and the tomatoes/onions/herbs did not seem fresh. The meatball sub was dry, tasteless, and had a large unidenfiable bone in one of the meatballs. The fettuccine alfredo was the worst we've had. The sauce was not cheesy and seemed powdery.

“Good Pizza!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2011

My family and friends visited Giordano's while on vacation in Orlando. Our friends knew of the restuarant from the chain. This restuarant is a bit smaller and does get kind of tight when all the tables are filled and there is little standing room while you wait for a table. We arrived early and got a 9 person table which was not easy. We ordered appetizers and main dishes including various types of pizza. My wife and I got a thin crust while the rest got their famous deep dish. We thoroughly enjoyed ours. Our kids were not too excited about their deep dish though. The appetizers were good and everyone seemed to enjoy them. I would go back to this restaurant and try the deep dish.

“Our Christmas Italian dinner was great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2010

Arrived in Orlando, FL on Christmas night and several restaurants were closed except for this cozy, family Italian restaurant. The food was really good and the service was very attentive. It was welcomed site after driving 7 hours.

“Giordanos Sand Lake Road”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2010

Been here a few times and really enjoy it.
Have the cheese garlic bread, lovely.
Lots of people complain about the wait but is states quite clearly in the menu that the filled pizzas take about 35mins.
The pizza has always been lovely, fresh and tasty.
The pasts and risotto I think is quite average.
Oveall a really good place to go for the pizza!

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2010

Very friendly service but mediocre food. The ad we saw said Italian but it is Chicago style and we like New York style pizza. The pizza was not to our liking at all. And the prices are medium to high. What I really disliked was the printed sign in the tab booklet “gratuity of 18 to 20% is typically expected" or something to that effect. A total turn off and uncalled for. Probably won’t go back.
