“"One of the worst Indian resturants I've ever went to"”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

I wanted to go to a nice, authentic place to eat some good Indian food, so I went with my family to Taj Mahal. The name sounds nice, but the food is horrible. We ordered Malai Kofta, Paneer Jalfrazi, and Garlic Naan. When we looked at the food, it looked terrible. The Malai Kofta looked like meatballs, and it tasted nothing like Malai Kofta. The ambience was very poor, and so was the service. I ask you to please not go to Taj Mahal restaurant.

“If you do not have an indian's tongue, please visit”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

This place serves dishes which have indian names, but no actual indian taste. Even the road side vendors in India serve better food. Please do not visit this place. It brings bad name to indian cuisine.

“Amid all the negative reviews, we still went !”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Ok, if you read all the reports, it appears mixed...some good, some bad. We are not huge Indian Cuisine experts, but decided to give it a try based on a Restaurant.com coupon. Our meal was hot, tasty, and the Nan as many reported, was fresh and good, we opted for the garlic and it was quite good. The special rice served with the meal, was ordinary white rice, not the long grain we were expecting as we had researched some of the meals so we knew what to expect. If you are close by, staying in a hotel on vacation, it was an ok experience. We probably will not rush home to seek out an Indian Restaurant, but it was interesting to say the least...oh yeah, the price tags are still on the chandeliers!

“expensive !!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

nice food but 92 dollars for 2 curries and 2 kids meals with a couple of drinks would have expected it to be half the price. Service not great and average surroundings will not visit again
