We attended a private function at the new Quantum Leap Winery and were very pleasantly surprised. We are not wine people! The atmosphere was very pleasing and comfortable. When I explained I only drank one wine and I didn't want anything too dry, the owner, Jill, had me try a nice Reisling. I had several glasses! The artwork is very compatable, large graphics of wine bottles, the wall decoration behind the counter is constructed from wine barrels, comfortable leather seating and beautiful walnut tables. There was a small area where the barrels are stored that was set up with a food serving area for us, but is quite comfortable for any type of function. The gigantic table was made with lumber from an old home. We were given a tour of the processing facility and the cooler. Jill was very informative, answered all our questions. " A core value of their business plan is to find an environmentally friendly solution for transporting wine to markets and ultimately the consumer." And "Equal to Jill and David’s appreciation for wine, is a mutual concern and respect for the environment."
From their signs, it appears they have music some nights. Something out of the ordinary in a fun city, fun for adults! Saving the planet while enjoying a nice glass of wine!
