Okay, as another person stated, this is not the safest part of town, my kids didn't even want to get out of the car - but we did and the kids are totally glad they got over their fears. We entered the place and was greeted right away. Everyone was so kind (waitresses) and during our meal, Chef Eddie came to our table to ask us personally how everything was. We had a "Living Social" deal to try this place out and I'm glad I decided to buy it. We had to try the chicken and waffles and it was SUPER delicious. My 15 year old didn't like her red velvet waffles too much but my blueberry waffles were awesome . The fried green tomatoes on top of the grits was awesome! My 8 year old who believes shes a BBQ Connoisseur enjoyed her ribs. And the corn bread muffins with jalapeno bits were SUPER delicious! I could have eaten only that all night long, thank goodness we only got 1 each. For dessert we got the sweet potato pie - my husband says its the best he's ever had. And the kids enjoyed their chocolate cake. We will definitely be visiting this place again. Don't let the neighborhood scare you off! Just go earlier !!
