“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Hidden in a small strip mall, is a little gem of a restaurant. Do not expect white tablecloths and china as this restaurant is all about great food. It has about ten different caribbean entrees like salcocho, beef stew and three or four chicken dishes accompanied by saffron or white rice and beans and ripe plantains; absolutely delicious! Also do not forget the flan for desert.

I have been to several Latin American restaurants in the Orlando area and NONE cam come close to the authentic home cooking of Tu Casa (which means your house). The staff is very friendly and attentive. We left wishing we had two stomachs and smiling from ear to ear! We will be back!

“My Favorite restaurant in Orlando!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013 via mobile

This is a great example of how a restaurant should be! Great food, great prices and great customer service, the employees are very cordial and respectful, they look as if they love their job and what they do! I go there at least three times a week, be advised they are closed on Sundays! Which is a shame for us off on part of weekends and do not want to cook but still have a home cooked meal.

“Authentic and Affordable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

When you hear very little english being spoken by the majority of customers... you know its authentic. Not fancy... just a fantastic culinary experience. Very busy and tough to get a table. But the turnover was quick so we didnt wait long till a group left and offered their table. Friendly, fresh and waaayyyyy under priced. You gotta hunt this place down when in Orlando. So glad we did.

“Little Hole in the Wall/Fab Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

You just can't go wrong here. Great food. Lots of it. Fab price.
It's a cafeteria style ordering, with about 10 - 15 tables. It gets crowded, but no ridiculous.
So much good food...so little chance to taste it all.

“Great place to eat, be there early for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

If you are looking for an affordable good meal, this is the place to go. You can find plates from $3.00 and up depending on what you like to eat. The cuisine in general is Latin with a Dominican flavor. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Less than a mile away from the Florida mall, “Tu Casa” is a great place to escape fast food chains. This place is very popular and limited in size, so try to be there before 12pm if you don't want to wait in line to order your food.
