Just got back from our vacation to the Boardwalk Villas. I have to say the best thing about the Boardwalk was the location! It is a great area to be in, near the Yacht and Beach Club hotel, as well as walking distance or a short boat ride to both MGM and Epcot. We walked into Epcot just for a lunch a couple times because it was so close! I was a little disappointed with our room as I didn't think the beds were that comfortable or made up well and there were a few spots that could have used a repainting. For the amount of money they charge, I expected to be in a cushy bed with a nice comforter and to not have anything be messy with the room. But overall, it was a good size room and had a nice balcony with a nice view.

“Love Love Love The Boardwalk”

My husband & I lived in Florida for several years & started to make Disney our annual trip. We stayed at the Boardwalk for 2 wedding anniversaries in 2004 & 2005. My husband mentioned when we booked the room that we were staying at the hotel for our anniversary & the Disney staff went out of their way to make us feel special. We were greeted in our room by balloons & a card wishing us a happy anniversary. We loved it! The hotel is gorgeous & truly makes you feel like you are at the boardwalk. There are many restaurants, stores, & clubs lining the boardwalk. We would head down to the boardwalk in the morning to eat breakfast either at Spoodles (great breakfast) or we would just grab a fresh pastry at the bakery. My favorite part about the location is that you can walk to Epcot in about 5 minutes and you can even watch "illuminations" from the bridge without even entering the park. I love going through this entrance because only hotel guests on that side seem to use it so it's like having your own private entrance to the park.

I highly recommend this hotel for those who are looking to have a nice vacation at Disney.

A terrific place to stay with kids. We have been there several times over the years. In fact, when my sons went to college that was the first trip they took. DisneyWorld. It has to be their favorite spot on earth for them.
The park is clean and the hotels are too.
The hardest part is to find food, so make reservations a day in advance if you want to go at a normal family time.
I have stayed in most of the Disney World hotels and the Boardwalk is one of the most fun. Great restaurants near by, magic shows at night. and best of all, you can get around very, easily.

thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here... All the DVC properties are great for size and room facilities and it follows through the same here. Although not as big units as OKW.
This location is amazing. Walk to MGM and Epcot.. Boat to MGM and Epcot. Disney transport to the rest.
Fantastic pool with slide and a great community Hall with x box /table tennis/videos to hire etc. A quiet pool also. One best feature is a real resort sytyle around the pool bar, which you can sit at with nibbles and drink in hand whilst close to the children at the pool. It's certainly the best pool bar experience in Disney and makes for a great hotel day away from the parks.
The boardwalk itself is great with entertainers most of the day...Bikes for Hire/ bakery and restaurants Pizza hut and fair type stalls all along.

We really enjoyed our time here.

Then wash and dry your clothes before you fly home or in our case went on the cruise.

In a word fantastic...yes the rooms are a little worn now. Taps aren't gleaming/sink is worn etc. but not shabby at all. just well used !! Exceptionally clean and user friendly.

Biggest problem can be it's size , you could get a unit way back...if this bothers you ask for Pool or Boardwalk view with a close to reception or community Hall location.

Carefull asking for accesable as we had done, because we got a room right next to the main lift. Very noisy, we asked to change on arrival and then when we saw the extend that rooms went back we decided to keep the room. You get so exhausted at Disney not much keeps you awake !!

Boardwalk view can be noisy at night if you have toddlers so be cautious on that.

happy to give anyone feed back.

We became Disney Vacation Club members in 2005 after staying at the Old Key West Resort. We have now stayed in all WDW DVC resorts except for Animal Kingdom Villas.

By far our favorite is the Boardwalk Villas Resort. The atmosphere can't be beat and the rooms are always clean and comfortable.

The boardwalk itself is alive with turn - of - the - century- type performers when night falls, from jugglers to magicians to a piano plying trike rider. Great places to eat and so close to Epcot.

This is a great experience that must be enjoyed at least once during a visit to the Magic Kingdom. It feel's like Walt designed it himself!
