“Cute, very cute.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

The pics on TA do not do the public places here justice,it's lovely...clean and well managed.
The rooms are ok, slightly tired in places ,but are comfortable which I guess is the main thing.

Food/drink: More choices than you could shake a stick at,although we mainly ate out of an evening.Bakery food was gorgeous...check out the brownies....then run or walk for at least an hour to alleviate the guilt!

Entertainment: Loads of stuff to keep you occupied in the evening , magicians jugglers etc.

Pool: Lovely, complete with plenty of lifeguards a cool slide and a nice bar where you will find Joe,probably the nicest friendliest member of staff on the property.

Service: Hit n miss, apart from the afore mentioned excellent Joe,I also found reception and concierge staff to be very helpful. But I guess for every Joe theres an Austin C,he was one of the rudest staff members I came accross on the entire holiday. You will find him at the Espn bar.My 2 dealings with him left me with the impression that he wasn't too keen on tourists(?) and took the edge off what other wise was a nice bar with decent food and Everton on the main screen!

Location: Excellent, you could be in Epcot by England within a 5 min walk. Also about a 10 min riverside walk from Hollywood studios.

Would we return? All things considered yes, although the service in places could and should be better, the beauty, location and amenities far outway the one or two rotten apples.

Boardwalk villas are part of Disney vacation club. Location is very close to both epcot and Disney studios theme parks. Good transportation to all theme and water parks. Boardwalk common area is mixture of food and some entertainment. We have been DVC members for 15 years and have not been disappointed with boardwalk.

Room Tip: View of pool is fun, especially if you have young kids

just adore this villa, two bedroom lock off 5080 and 82, this time. Great space and the new sofa beds are unique, easy to use and very comfortable. JUST FLIP IT OPEN AND PULL OUT THE HIDDEN PILLOWS! There are simple directions left in the room for you.
Full kitchen, only one person at a time in there, but it's fully furnished with everything from a big cookie sheet to a full set of pans and a colander. Plus glasses, flatware, plates, and such. There is a lower,' eat at', counter for the kids and table that seats four comfortably. Good Tv's in both bedrooms and living area, two full bathrooms, dishwasher, and washer/dryer in all rooms one bed and up and plenty of towels.
We had a pool view, not great as we could hear the pool party loud and clear at Nap time. We got through it, but I'd stay away with little afternoon nappers.
The master had a king size, with bath tub jacuzzi, separate shower, and two sinks. washer , dryer, and clean carpet throughout except kitchen. We walked to both Hollywood studios and Epcot and ride the boat back. The boardwalk it's self was as fun as we remembered it, and the food at ESPN club was very good as were the treats at Boardwalk Bakery.
Water pressure in the room was very good, they have switched to Tinkerbell, grapefruit H20 scented products and give out very small samples, disappointed in this. My daughter used the gym and was very pleased, it had everything to get a good workout.
The pool was just warm enough to be easy to get into, and cool enough to be comfortable on what turned into 4 hot and humid days. All in all Boardwalk remains at the top of our list at WDW and we think it will be your's as well.

Room Tip: the noise from the aft. pool party can be a bit obnoxious after a while, other than that depends on...

Just got back from a 5 day trip to Disney World, this being the 6th Disney resort I stayed in and my first villa! First of all, you HAVE to stay on Disney property if you are going to Disney World! I've been to many places and nothing even compares to Disney resorts! The Boardwalk was super nice with much to do! You can rent bicycles, go in the nicely themed pool, take a short walk to Epcot or Hollywood Studios, and watch the entertainment they had on the boardwalk every night! We had a one bedroom villa which was plenty of space for 5 of us! We had breakfast in the room every morning and had lunch and dinner in the parks (there were places on the boardwalk to grab a quick meal, pizza, ice cream etc.). The room had two patios (one in the living room & one in the bedroom) which overlooked the pool. It was an awesome view! Like I said before you can walk to Epcot (not even 10 minutes) and Hollywood studios (not even 15 minutes), or you can take a boat which was really nice! We usually walked through Epcot and jumped on the monorail to get to Magic Kingdom! My only complaint would be the bus system from the resort to the parks and Downtown Disney. The buses are shared with 3 other resorts, so there were times we would have to stand because it was too packed, or it would take forever because we would always be the first stop to get picked up, but the last to get dropped off. But other than that everything was perfect! I would DEF stay here again! Oh & did I mention watching Epcot's illuminations from the resort or extra magic hours?! Just a perk you get for staying in the middle of the magic!

Excellent! We are DVC members, whose home resort is the beach club. this past year, we started our trip at the boardwalk, and really enjoyed it! it is definitely worth the extra points for a boardwalk view room if you are one who uses the balcony. the rooms were very clean, and the decor was light and airy. would definitely go back. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, with me, my husband, two kids (9 and 11), and my mother. I did bring an inflatable mattress for my 11 year old to sleep on. The one beds are roomy enough for 5, but do not sleep five in the room, although you can provide your own bedding:)

Stayed at the boardwalk last December, and enjoyed our trip so much that we came back this September.

Used magical express to transport us to the hotel.
Check-in was smooth.
Took a little longer than we'd like to get our bags, plane landed around 1:15 but we didn't get our bags til after 6.

Like our last time, location is awesome. You can leave your room and be at the epcot entrance (in between UK and France) in 10 mins.. Or walk to Hollywood studios in 20 mins.

Very large pool that was never really crowded.

The workout room is well equipped, but seemed they cranked the AC too low.

The boardwalk area was always well maintained and cleaned every morning.

The buses seemed like they took a little longer than our last trip, and the boardwalk was the very last stop from the animal kingdom. The bus ride was 40-45 mins after leaving AK.

We ordered room service twice, which both times, the food was outstanding.

After 7 days here, we moved over to the Grand Floridian.

Would def stay here again for a 3rd time, or maybe move over to the beach club

We went here in July family of 4 in a studio. We had a blast at the waterslide and pool. Gym was very nice as well. Our room was on the 5th floor and overlooked the pool. Hoped to stay here again in January but it was already booked.
