We have been going to O'hana for about 16 years. It is always in the top 5 of our favorite Disney restaurants. Our last two visits in 2013 have been not quite up to par. My husband excitedly ordered his favorite pina colada & it was just plain bad - thin, lack of creaminess & coconut flavor. He never leaves over an expensive drink - he drank about 1/3 of this one. Several of the other dishes were not as good as they used to be - wings & salad. It seems that the recipes for both have changed not for the better. There used to be more of a selection of sauces & now we had only the sweet & sour (can't have the peanut sauce due to allergies). Speaking of allergies, our children had to have 2 of their meats cooked in the back due to a sesame allergy. The meat came out with no seasoning, tough & quite tasteless. Neither of my kids would eat it. The restaurant had a heads up that we were coming in with the allergies. It would be nice if they could safely marinate meat in the back so what they served to the allergy people was palatable. The chicken skewer from the grill was very good as well as my favorite dessert at Disney - the bread pudding with caramelized bananas. All in all, our meal was good but I hope they can bring O'hana back to being great.
