Description: 'Ohana restaurant in Disney's Polynesian Resort offers a Character Dining breakfast and a Polynesian-inspired dinner menu. Both meals are served family-style—quite fitting since 'ohana means family in the Hawaiian language.Character Dining at BreakfastJoin Lilo and Stitch for 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! Feel like you're a part of their intergalactic 'ohana when you join them for an American breakfast influenced by the exotic tastes of the Polynesian islands. Menu selections include scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon and a variety of fresh fruits and breads.Family-Style Polynesian DinnerWhen the doors open for dinner, the bellow of conch shells welcome you to 'Ohana. Adding to the island ambiance are tikis, storytellers and coconut races, in which children sweep coconuts with brooms across the hardwood floor down the center of the restaurant. The family fun continues as everyone is encouraged to play with hula hoops and dance to island music. The 'Ohana servers add to the festive atmosphere, as they dash between tikis and tropical greenery to bring plates of Polynesian specialties to your table. Choose from skewers roasted over an expansive 18-foot oak fire pit, and side dishes include stir-fried vegetables, fried dumplings, lo mein noodles and a salad starter.

“Good Gravy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Honestly...there is sooooo much food. We dined here as a sit-down meal on the Disney Dining Plan. The food was good. You should definitely dine here at least once on your visit the most Magical Place on Earth!

“Fun and Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Ate here right as it opened for dinner and it filled up FAST! Food is served family-style and is plentiful and all you can eat. Salad, a sweet bread, flavorful chicken wings, pork potstickers, noodles and stir-fried veggies, and roasted pork, beef, chicken, and steak that is brought to your table and pulled off the skewer onto your plates. Adults and children all enjoyed the food, but I saw waiters bring out chicken strips for kids who were upset by the offerings. The kids followed the Hawaiian singer around and learned to hula. The place is not quiet (most Disney restaurants are not) but lots of fun and delicious. Dessert was good, but I was too stuffed to eat much. Bread pudding, ice cream and caramel sauce.

“Breakfast more than adequate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Booked a character breakfast at Ohana's for our trip in October. Served "family style" (where the server keeps refilling the central plate as requested), and the meal was extremely filling. The Mickey waffles went down a treat with the 6 year old and the whole experience was wrapped inside 75 mins without feeling rushed. The price for the meal itself was excellent, however the one rip off is the photo taken before hand which at $32 (not obligatory) is on the excessive side of reasonable even by Disney Standards.
Will eat here again quite happily!

“Plentiful Food, Lackluster Service, Rude Hostess”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

We started our dinner with a very rude hostess who questioned the true age of our 2-year-old (kids under 3 are free). Incredibly, incredibly rude and judgmental. Made me wish I had our kid's birth certificate to shove it in her face. Very, very un-Disney.

Waiter service followed a pre-set schedule. That's fine I suppose, but it was extremely impersonal. And it took forever and a day to get drink orders filled or refills on anything.

There was a cheesy Hawaiian singer/ukulele player. The whole decor of the restaurant and this act are straight out of the 1970s. There is kitsch value in that, I suppose. But it just felt like Greg Brady would walk by at any moment wearing that cursed tiki idol around his neck.

The endless parade of meat was fine. Not great. Certainly not up to par with any of the places in any other city like a Fogo de Chao, etc.

I'm glad we tried it. Would not return. There are better meals with much better service available elsewhere on Disney property.
