Clean, spacious, we were on the 16th floor & view was great. The place is being renovated and once it's complete I'm sure it will be excellent. The entrance area could improve but othewise great place to stay, within walking distance to everything.

Ok, I read all the bad /mediocre reviews about this hotel but I booked it anyway since I needed a 2 B/R with full kitchen for a week on short notice.

WOW!! I'm sitting in the living room right now (today is Jan. 26th, 2005) typing on my laptop and really, I couldn't be happier. It's spotless, huge, 2 B/R's with 2 full baths, island countertop w/ 6 bar stools, leather couch, amore w/ TV/DVD player/cable, marble tile in living room etc., 14th floor view on lake overlooking Wet N Wild and Universal Studios and NEW!! This room was renovated!!

Best part, just $79 per night. I stayed at the Ramada Hotel on International Drive across the pond last July, but they wanted between $80 to 120 /night this time versus the $40.00 night last July and it was tiny. So, I took a chance and got this place and really, what a nice place.

So, just wanted to drop this note since obviously, they fixed the place up since last summer/fall. 5 STARS!!!

We Just got back from Orlando and this Hotel is definitly a 5 star Hotel. We would stay there again. I nearly canceled because of some of the reviews. Try this one out you will not be sorry.

Interesting to read the mixed reviews of this place - I stayed there last week for 3 nights, paying only $79 + tax for each night. The accommodations are in refurbishment, but we had a renovated room and it was as a previous review described - fresh decor, clean, fresh towels, etc. The only comment that I could make on a negative side was that the rooms looking towards Kissimmee(essentially toward the car park) were slightly smaller in the living/kitchen area. there was no breakfast bar as shown in the model room on the 17th floor. Not sure if this is a feature of the rooms that look south - the views over the lake towards Wet n Wild / Universal seemed to fit a slightly bigger living area and there was a separate shower and bath in the master suite.

Overall, I think we got a fantastic deal - we got this in the traveller discount guide picked up in many Florida gas stations/McDonalds/BK. There was no hard sell when we got there - simply give your details over the phone at reception, hand over the coupon and go to your room.

We also used their resort in South beach, Miami for just $99 + tax - hurricane Jeanne shortened our stay by 1 night. Location is perfect, but the decor was much older for a 1 bedroom (we got moved to a seaview at no extra cost). p.s. - it helps if you speak spanish - otherwise, staff mostly ignore you.
