We generally like to stay at "the best" places and I have to say that the Ritz Carlton in Orlando ranks right up there with best hotels in the world to stay at.

If you are familair with Ritz Carlton properties, then you know about the service that you have come to expect (and let's face it, pay for). Well, they do it absolutely right at this Ritz. From the doorman and bellhops, to the counter people and concierge, they have it all down pat at this location.

For those of you thinking about an off-Disney-site property, all I can say is "STAY HERE"!

If you are like us, and hate the small Disney hotel rooms and the impersonal service and crowded resort feeling, then you are probably considering one of these off-site hotels. You will not be disappointed with this selection.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable. We looked forward to coming back to the room.

The service was spectacular, and not lacking in anything.
We used the concierege on two occasions and were blown away by the reservation they made for us at Roy's Restaraunt in Orlando. All I can say is, if you stay at this hotel, have the concierge arrange dinner for you there. Trust me on this.

We also had dinner at Norman's which is located in the hotel. The literature had it highly ranked and it lived up to it's billing. The food and service were top notch and I would highly recommend having dinner here at least one night. It's dressy, so the kids can come, but punish them by having them dress neatly. I would not recommend it for young children however.

Of course, cost is a factor when traveling and this Ritz is no different than the others, it's expensive. But you truly get what you pay for on ths one. Well worth the money and this is now our choice for Orlando stays.

Well I guess you could say I'm a bit biased since this is the first time I have stayed at a Ritz. I have stayed at some very nice hotels but this was great. The amenities were outstanding and I really have to say I enjoyed and was not expecting a balcony. Glad it was for business though because it was very pricey drinks and apps at the bar...don't think I've ever paid $30 for buffalo wings before. Service was great, room was very nice, the gym was excellent. I would stay there again for sure.

We've stayed at quite a few Ritz's and although this one is very good (and probably the best hotel in Orlando), it fell short in a number of areas when you compare it to other Ritz Carltons.

Rooms were nice and spacious with great beds and showers. The bath-tub isn't deep enough though. Spotlessly clean.

Breakfast service was poor and the choice at the buffet was just ok.

The biggest problem though was that somehow they managed to check another guest into our room and I kept getting messages for this person and whenever they answered the phone it was for "Mr.........." and not me. This made me nervous and I kept a close eye on our account to make sure things didn't get wrongly charged.

As Ritz's go this one is good value for money.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this hotel and had an incredible experience. We booked a normal room but were thrilled upon check-in to learn that since it was our anniversary (they asked us during booking if we were celebrating anything special), we were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite. What a great way to start the trip!

The restaurants were really great and the service was tremendous. We enjoyed the food and the people.

Our room was fantastic, as is typical Ritz fashion. Everything was extremely clean, felt brand new, and was always in order.

We were really impressed with the spa and workout area. It really added to the experience. It featured a steam room, jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, and a multi-level spa. The workout equipment was in impeccable shape.

Upon checkout, we were given bottles of water as we buckled in for our drive home. How great is that?
