“Drury does it again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

This is my second time staying at a Drury Inn, and this experience was just as good as the first. Great location right next to the freeway for easy access to attractions and shopping. Nice, well appointed hotel rooms, and an attractive lobby. Delicious and plentiful food with free hot breakfast, and the 5:30 kickback where there is enough food for dinner if you wish, along with a complimentary cocktail. There is even popcorn and pop in the evenings which is a nice touch if you happen to be watching a movie in your room, or just have a hankering for a late-night snack. The staff is excellent and work hard to make sure your every need is met. Kudos to the Drury...again.

We have been faithful Drury followers for several years and they NEVER let us down! We were here for four nights. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly, and attentive! They make you feel like family here! The hotel was very busy with the Spring Breakers and the staff never seemed too busy to greet each and every guest there! Room was amazing, as always. Food is wonderful...no surprise. Nightly popcorn and drinks make it even better for the kids (mom too)! The pool and hot tub was great for relaxing in after a long day of Orlando fun! My only complaint with Drury...wish they had more Inns and Suites in more locations! (Is that a complaint? Ha ha!)

Room Tip: The only tip I have for you is to ALWAYS stay in a Drury! You will NOT be sorry!

Stayed at property for 6 nights during a business trip. Was greeted warmly upon arrival and stay was great to the end. Start the day with warm breakfast, evening cocktails and food, finish night with soft drinks and popcorn. All included in price of your room. You are 1 mile from Universal Studios and City Walk, 15 minutes from Walt Disney World. Sand Lake Road must be restaurant row as there are over 50 in a square mile. Would recommend to everyone coming to Orlando.

is everywhere. The hotel actually flew in additional staff to provide for the "spring break" overflow.

Standouts were
General Manager Robert Allen, who actually retrieved two items I had left behind, and made arrangements for them to be returned to us.

Megan who seem to go from behind the registration area to sweeping the popcorn off the floor.

Vicky, a woman who did her best to make breakfast a happening for everyone.

Will be planning future trips, but only to areas where we can stay at a Drury.

Room Tip: Have never stayed at a hotel where I truly felt at home. Every person we came into contact with was...

Visited recently as a last night "bonbon" for our boys, pool, free popcorn, free meals, free sodas - the sleeping wasn't free, but the rates was very good all the same! Very comfortable beds, spacious suite - even though there were five of us, very clean, very efficient, and best of all -really very friendly; we always felt truly welcome! Super staff in all areas - courteous and helpful - we will be back!!

Room Tip: Maybe higher up are better, but we had no complaints on the 3rd, easy access to elevator, quiet, jus...

Great experience. Room was clean and roomy and had a mini-fridge and microwave. The tv was a good size and offered a lot of channels. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom (kind that's attached to the wall) and had shampoo, conditioner & body wash dispensers in the shower (never saw that before) no body lotion though. The breakfast area is HUGE and has all sorts of seating options from 2 seater tables to 6 people circular booths. The breakfast offered waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, breads, bagels, yogurts oatmeal and cereal. There were 3 buses of high school athletes there and I was concerned that at breakfast it would be crowded or hard to find a table. I was wrong there was just so much space. At night they had popcorn available and drinks such as soda, water, tea and coffee. In the lobby they have a desk to buy tickets to Universal much easier then waiting in line at Universal. It's also a pet friendly hotel and the parking is free. It is right next to a highway so don't expect great views and suprisingly I only heard one motorcycle as he went past otherwise it was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for the cleanliness the atmosphere and the free extras!

Room Tip: I don't think you can go wrong with any room. I was behind the elevators and never heard them...

We booked the Drury Orlando because the recommendations we read on Tripadvisor.

We loved it.

The staff was excellent - especially "Vicky" in the breakfast room who treated us like family.

Our daughter made me promise to mention her in this review (she was that sweet).

The location is good, the rooms were clean, the staff was kind and helpful, and they managed their food service well.

Great hotel, wonderful room, at a fair price - go Drury!
