Booked the Crowne Plaza for 5 nights at the end of our holiday and enjoyed every minute of it,. We splashed out a bit more for an executive room on the 15th floor which was worth the extra. One of the perks is access to the lounge on the 15th floor which is great place relax over breakfast or an evening drink. The staff in the lounge are great (as they are throughout the hotel) - don't forget to tip them though (especially you Brit's!)

The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view towards universal studios.

We ate out every night because the range of restaurants nearby is vast (try Charley's Steakhouse or Fish Bones). We did have a snack of soup and chicken wings in Chat's Bar one day which was very good.

The pool and deck area are great - although you lose the sun quite early which is a shame. The pool is heated though - this is really appreciated in February.

All in all this property is highly recommended

staff friendly and really helpful, the rooms where excellent spacious, clean and at least 4-5* bedding just so nice.
location for universal was perfect with free transport.... with so much to do we didnt get to use all their great facilities including the lovely pool area, games room ect...

i would definitly return to this hotel if i was going to orlando wouldnt think about staying anywhere else.... i can be very fussy about hotel standards and beleive me i left very very happy and relaxed about our stay.... breakfast was great too....

We live in the 'burbs of Orlando, but booked a room because we were going to be going to Universal Studios with relatives. We stopped by the hotel around 9:00 on Friday morning to leave our luggage, expecting to check in later in the day. Much to our surprise, and delight, we were both able to check-in. Granted, we got "handicapped" rooms, but the only difference I could tell was that we had a large shower rather than a bathtub/shower.

The bed was *awesome*. It was one of the most, if not the most, comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. The room had little extras that made it very nice, such as an eye shade, some vanilla scented linen spray, lotion. It was quite nice. My only regret was that we hadn't booked for two nights. Given an excuse, I will definitely stay there again.

We booked on Hotwire and it was listed as a "Customer Favorite" 4-star hotel. Once we were down by Universal, we saw 2 star hotels advertised for only $10 less, so I feel t was we definitely got our money's worth.

After reading the reviews on here, I was sure we have a decent stay at this hotal. I was mistaken! It was PERFECT!

We booked an Executive Level room w/a king bed & inroom jacuzzi. It was great! Clean and not missing a thing! There's a mini fridge in the room with a separate sitting area. A TV w/internet access & keyboard, also Nintendo, and movies available to buy on demand. A CD player w/alarm. The best bed ever w/more than plenty pillows! And they leave a little bag with a sleep CD, linen spray, a sleeping mask & ear plugs to guarantee a great sleep (although they weren't nedded!). The executive level, is private (use your room key in the elevator to access the floor) w/ a lounge that serves free breakfast in the mornings & free beer & wine at night. NOTE: the free breakfast is a continental breakfast & the free beer & wine are house. (You can purchase name brands for $6.50 + tax).

The pool was awesome. Perfect temp, eventhough it was cool outside. They also Have towels ppolside so you don't have to bring your room towels down! There is also a bar poolside.

Parking was easy to find eventhough the hotel was fairly full. Also the lot was very well lit, and no spot was "too far".

The entire property was clean and neat. The staff was very professional, curteous, and playful, even when we checked in after 11pm! Any problems we had were resolved in a VERY timely manner.

We did order room service and the food was reasonably priced (compared to going to a sit down restaurant) and very good.

This is an awesome hotel! We were very pleased!
