I have recently moved to the Orlando area from Buford, GA (Where I would say the best O'Charley's location is). When I stepped into this restaurant for the first time I was use to ALWAYS having a good experience so I went into the location in Orlando with high expectations, sorry to say I wish I had saved my money and just went to Mc Donald's. I ordered sweet tea and I was informed that they were out of Sugar and couldn't make any. Then I was going to order the prime rib special for $13.99 and of course they were out of that as well. I was talked into getting the more expensive steak and ordered a baked potato then I was informed that they were all out of baked potatoes, by this time I was ready to leave, against my better judgement I stayed. I ordered my steak med/well and it came out rare and still bleeding. so I had to send the steak back, while my fiancee's was forced to let her food get cold waiting on mine to be recooked. When I asked to speak to the manager about our meal, our server gladly had him come over and we explained the experience we were experiencing. The Manager ( Taylor) brought my steak over to the table and I told him how our experience was, and when I was done I felt like I was talking to the wall because I was blown away by the way he handled this type of situation. I would honestly say he could have cared less but he did offer us a dessert but with the way things were going we decided that we weren't interested and did not receive any discount for our troubles. We talked to our server about what the manager said and she was apologizing for the way the manager had handled the situation. Our server was awesome, but this particular location needs a manager overhaul and Taylor has no business being a manager if that is the way he is going to treat customer complaints. After my experience with this Orlando O'Charley's I will be finding a new restaurant in the area and will not be visiting this location again.
