“Nice stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

This a good family resort, while the property it self isn't small it wasn't by any means overwhelming. Water temps in the pool and hot tub were perfect. Our suite was nice while some of the furniture showed a little age. Overall a place we may consider staying at in the future. This resort might not the most glitzy resort it is very functional and clean and it is in a great location for visiting the disney parks. The Pool and hot tub opened to 11 was a great way to relax after a day at disney.

Thank you for sharing your feedback from your stay here at Cypress Palms.

I'm happy to hear that overall it was a good stay. Our team does a great job in providing a clean and pleasant experience. I apologize for not meeting your expectation at the pool. Our larger pool is indeed suffering with music problems. We are working with our Muzak provider to improve this experience.

We do hope you come back to see us. Please feel free to reach out to me when you do. Perhaps we can get you in a closer building to the larger pool.

Thank you again for sharing,

Amy

The hotel is immaculate, but rooms with balconies were limited and I was less than impressed with the size of the 2 pool areas. The pools were clean, but the space around the pools left very little room to accommodate the number of guests who were at either pool. It was great having a washer and dryer along with a kitchen in each room. Even though I brought my own cleaning supplies & coffee, the facility offered an unlimited supply of coffee, sugar, laundry and dish detergent which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel staff couldn't be more pleasant and welcoming. It's just a shame that the pools were so small and that not every room had a balcony.

Thank you for providing your feedback regarding your experience here at Cypress Palms. We are in prime season here at Cypress Palms and with the gorgeous weather the pools are very busy. We have recognized the need for added space and are currently in the process of moving some things around to accomodate more guests. We are also looking to enhance our playground area by adding a Nature Explorer play area and may have some more surprises later this year.

We have four different room types here at Cypress Palms. There is one unit type that does not have a balcony. That is our one bedroom standard, also known as a lock-off or suite. This is our smallest unit that has one king bed in the master bedroom and then a queen sofa bed in the living/dining space. Please note this unit type also has a miniature kitchen versus the full kitchen. This is great for couples coming through for a shorter stay, or for those not looking for condo setting with a balcony. Please contact me when you are looking to come back. I'd be happy to assist in assuring you get the unit type that you are looking for.

Thank you again for sharing your experience. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Exchanged through RCI for a week in February. Location was excellent. Remodeled one bedroom had a small living space and no room if the sleeper sofa was opened. Bedroom was plenty big enough and the bed was comfortable. Grounds were very nice and very quite. Pool was on the cool side, but the kids did not mind. No maid/daily towel service. (They will drop off towels outside your door upon request though.) Dryer needed extra time if drying towels or jeans. Freezer had a burning smell, which they did switch out within an hour. Overall we would probably stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your family vacation here at Cypress Palms. The one bedroom standard/suite/lockoff is the smallest of our unit types here at Cypress Palms. For families looking for some space or that want the open feeling of having a balcony we recommend upgrading your reservation to a deluxe unit.

Cypress Palms is a timeshare resort, thus unlike hotels, we do not provide daily housekeeping services. There are housekeeping services for those parties staying over seven days. Please check with us if you would like to add housekeeping services. These services are available for a fee.

Thank you again for your feedback. All of your comments do assist us in becoming a better resort.

So my husband and I enjoyed a full week at this nice review. We had a one bedroom, it is very well appointed, the mini kitchen was big enough for us. A nice bedroom with a king size bed, very comfortable. We loved the swimming pool and hot tub. Many amenities to enjoy. The place is immaculate, the housekeeping are very friendly, and efficient. The staff at front desk are very courteous and respect you as a person. Many who go to this resort are owners, even the owners are friendly and will even play a game of scramble. The entire resort is pristine, and the crew working around the resort are all pleasant. Don't hesitate to call if you need something, they will delivered it to your room with smile. I would have loved to have a two bedroom, it mus be spacious. Do not hesitate to go and stay a week or more this play is top notch. A great place, clean and very close to attractions. One afternoon,I spent my time, looking at the ducks even got to feed them. What fun that was. Not sure if I was allowed to feed them, but no one said anything. Please go and enjoy the place. It's a 10

We are so glad to hear of your experience. Thank you so much for sharing!

Here at Cypress Palms, we have many repeat owners throughout the year. We love our owners! They are friendly and come here to have some fun and relaxation while defrosting from being in a colder region. Not sure if you noticed the decoy or fake ducks. They are beautiful but they just don't move. Those ducks are marking our geothermal heating system for the pools and spas. Along with the ducks, fake ducks, cranes, turtles and fish we also have a visitor right now that is just under three feet, and likes to get some sun. Yes, we have a baby alligator. We don't recommend feeding any of the wildlife, especially our new visitor.

Thank you again for your excellent feedback. We look forward to having you back!

I loved our stay at this resort! We stayed in a 2 bed/2 bath condo.. It was one of the older units but it was very clean, spacious and the beds were super comfortable! The grounds of the property are also very well maintained and the resort is very quiet. The check-in personnel were friendly. We were not bothered once with time share sales while we were there either. The location is great! It is in the middle of Sea World, Universal and Disney and is located down the road from Walmart, Publix, CVS and many restaurants. The outlets are also a short drive away.

The only downfalls for me was parking. If you do not arrive to the resort early enough, you will have to park by check-in which wasn't a major deal. The water pressure was also very low in the shower but other than that, it was a great stay! We will stay again!

Thank you for sharing your experience at Wyndham Cypress Palms. Many families look to this resort to have a place to kick back and relax after a couple of days at the parks. It's a peaceful and nature inspired resort with friendly faces around every turn. Cypress Palms continues to grow in popularity as we keep getting better each year. Please accept our apologies on the parking challenges. When the resort is full, we do indeed suffer some challenges after 10pm. We are currently looking into finding a way to add any more possible spaces. We will have three more buildings renovated later this year. We look forward to welcoming you back to Cypress Palms. Thank you again for taking the time to share!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath and it was very spacious and clean. Great place too stay! The only thing we had an issue with were the two ladies at the concierge desk. They seemed very crabby like we were bothering them if we had a question. We asked if they could call us a taxi and it seemed like that bothered them but they did it. We finally figured out that they were calling us more expensive taxis. Thankfully we caught on and started getting our own. I thought they were there to help us but apparently not! So as long as you don't need their help it is a great place to stay.

I spent five nights and used this as an alternative to the hotel where the legal seminar I was attending was at. The price was about one-third of what the seminar hotel was, was a short 8 minute drive away, and the savings allowed me to spend some time before and after visiting other spots in Florida. It had a full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator and a big screen tv. It was very clean and reasonably priced. It would not hesitate to stay here again if I come back and attend another one of the seminars.

Thank you Robert for sharing your experience here at Cypress Palms. We are so close to everything, but yet tucked away in a peaceful environment. I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us.

When we get business travelers they are usually wowed at how much space and comfort they have at our Wyndham timeshare resorts. It sure does make it more comfortable and convenient to bring friends or family along. Since your departure we have upgraded our wireless internet. I think you will be very pleased when you return and have the new highly improved system.

We look forward to welcoming you back!
