“Wonderful stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2012

I was staying here for a 4 day business trip and have never stayed at a Residence Inn prior. I must say, I will be changing to Residence Inn from now on!

Unlike other places I have stayed, a full breakfast really means full. Every morning there was a different offering and it was excellent, not just so so. As an additional surprise was the evening social hour which served dinner as well.

The room was extremely clean and well taken care of, towels and sheets were changed even though I did not request it.

The exercise room though small, had just enough of what one would need.

Overall, I was impressed and will no doubt stay here again (there were several people I was with that stayed in another hotel close by and said they were disappointing they did not stay here this time!)

Hotel is a bit run down. Carpet felt sticky, no hot water, luke warm at best. Towels were worn thru, breakfast was not appealing. Granted this is considered a college hotel, it needs some work. I would not return here.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2011

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in September. We arrived just as the manager's cocktail party was ending. The check-in agent requested that the food and beverages stay out for another half hour to give us time to get checked in and come back for some food. We put our stuff in our room and came back to the lobby. The food service woman couldn't have been nicer. She loaded us up with food and a pitcher of beer. She even went in the back and came out with some cookies for us. After a long day of driving, it was very nice to have a clean room and some good food. The wireless Internet was hit and miss. Sometimes it was adequate and other times frustratingly slow. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone need accommodations near UCF.

This hotel is a great option for staying a few days for UCF Main Campus. We were in a two-bedroom and although bedrooms themselves weren't overly huge, the living room/kitchenette was a decnt size. And you do get a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, etc. so it helps save some money on eating out all the time. Lots of stores/restaurants in the opposite direction right off University Blvd up around 3 miles...

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. And for a 'suites'-type of setup, it was a good price I'd definitely stay there again.

I can understand when some reviewers said the hotel was dated, however my description would stand at "quaint". Although the decor seems old, they have flat screens in the rooms and the beds are soft as a clouds. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and included a make-your-own-waffle station =). Hot food and cold food available. The staff are quite friendly. The rooms are well kept and very spacious. With free internet included I'd definitely stay here again!

Very nice staff, huge clean rooms, everything a biz traveler needs. One thing, people use the parking area as a cut through from University to Quadrangle so numerous speeding cars and almost hit one pulling out of a space.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2010

Everything was right here and it made me feel better while on the road. The morning breakfast was home cooked and not just stale muffins and biscuits like some other places. On Wednesday night the hotel put out an informal dinner for a "social hour". There's a lounge off of the dining room with another television and two terminals for browsing the web or checking e-mail.

The room was really clean and well kept. Quiet...no odors and not off a road or by a hospital. There's a kitchenette there if you want to cook instead of going out. Everyone did such a good job.
