“Don't stay here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

I booked this hotel because most hotels were booked and it wasn't too pricey. However, I was very disappointed in what I received for the price I paid. The room was filthy (dirty sink, bugs in the shower, the sheets had black marks all over, and the towels were dirty too). I've never felt so gross about a place that I've stayed. Won't be coming here again.

Stayed here for a week early November...Basic hotel, very clean, a few issues with the room but these were sorted promptly...Free breakfast, with a nice variety of cereals,juice,pancakes,waffles.etc...We only had the breakfast twice as it was a little crowded each time..It was more like a motel really..nice pool area, we were the only people there..On the first evening we asked the person behind the desk to call us a cab to go to the outlet mall, a very nice guy arrived and dropped us off and collected us also later. when he dropped us back to the hotel he asked if we had transport organised to take us to the airport, we didnt so we booked him and paid $55 and gave all our details.. The staff behinf the desk called several cabs for us during the week and no problem..they were all private cabs...So on the day we were leaving we were to be picked up at 2.30 in the afternoon, 2.45 no driver, so i went into the desk and asked the girl on duty to call the number on the card we were given by the driver, she asked me where i got the card i told her the driver who picked us up the first night gave us his card, and that one of her colleagues originally called him....She said they never deal with this company, and it was impossible that anybody working in the hotel calledd that cab.....This went on for 10 mins....Another staff member appeared and he was one of the staff on duty on the first night, i said dont you remember calling the cab, he denied it....At this stage i was pretty annoyed..I dialled the number myself and they said the driver went to the wrong hotel, and another one would be with us in 5 mins, so another guy arrived spoke to a staff member and said he was bringing us to the airport, we told him we had paid already and not paying again...he said no problem...Now it was our first time in Orlando, so where did we get the number if not from the front desk.....Either the driver was a family member of one of the staff or he was a friend and they were sending him some extra work, but they denied that they ever called that cab....All this was very upsetting for us,,,,and on this experience i would never stay here again or even recommend it,

My wife and I made two mistakes choosing this Hotel. Firstly we didn't take sufficient notice of other reviews, and secondly to save a few dollars, I chose the "Internet Special" price, which doesn't allow any cancellation.
We stayed from the 26th November 2013 for 4 nights, covering Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
We had requested (We are both seniors) a ground floor room, and was given the key to room 119. However when we discovered that this room was adjacent to the building work in progress, we asked for another room. There was little grace or cheer from the receptionist. We were offered another king room, 319, a smallish room with corporate yellow walls ant not so clean looking carpet. There is a good size flat screen TV with only a partially working remote (You couldn't scroll the channels!).
From our third floor room landing there was a view of the Pool, and yes , at this time of year it's in shade for all of the day, and not being heated we saw nobody using it for the whole of our stay.
Breakfast is a complete shambles, with totally inadequate space for the number of guests. Indeed on out first morning guests were using the surfaces where the cereals etc. were dispensed from as tables!! The conveyor type Toaster needed two runs to brown the toast, and the area being so small the congestion was becoming serious. The staff just kept a low profile, hoping the problem would go away? The other three mornings were little less congested. The Hotel could assist the situation by providing more tables chairs during the service period, and by extending the breakfast finish time beyond the early 09,00 am finish.
There is a notice in the reception area stating that an improved breakfast area is being created (The Building works?), but no indication as to when these would be complete.
Even when the breakfast facility is improved, and Building works completed this Hotel still needs to improve its welcome and general demeanor. Until then there are better value Hotels in this area. We'll try them next time.

Too expensive for the quality of the hotel. The breakfast was horrible. Flush in the toilet did not work. Staff was clueless. No help offered. Price charged was a premium one but the service and breakfast was more like a ghetto hotel.

The quality of the stay was what you would expect for $65.00 / night, but what ruined the stay was the fact that construction on a new section was being conducted and resulted in load banging and equipment noises prior to 7:00 AM.

Even though it was obvious that lack of room in the breakfast area is a daily issue the hotel hasn't bothered to address it. Who wants to go to breakfast and have to fight for a table and a chair? We had to leave the hotel to go to a restaurant for breakfast even though it was offered by Best Western as part of our stay.
