My 11 year old son called this place heaven and it truely was. We went to the parks most days but on our last day, our 3 kids ages 8, 11 and 13 asked if we could just stay there for the day which we did. The staff makes you feel so at home (popcorn every afternoon for example). We loved the pools, the basketball courts, pool table, ping pong, foosball, pool table and mini-golf all by the lake. Our unit was very comfortable and well stocked with dishes etc. (my husband did all the cooking and we only ate out once). There is very little pressure to do the Time Share tour maybe because this place sells itself so easily. Horizon's was so much cheaper to stay at than other places we contacted (e.g. $1000 CDN less than the Marriott Residence next door). I just can't imagine what more you would need except for a restaurant on-site (there is now just a snack bar although the menu was varied enough).
