We stayed at Hilton Grand Vacation Club from May 13 to May 31, 2007. I was a little worried because of some older posts I read on here (since it was a Gold Crown through RCI I figured it could not be that bad) but upon arrival my fears quickly diminished. When we got there some tickets we ordered over the internet were not there, so I was freaking out because we needed them for that night! Roni from customer relations got on the phone with the people and fought with them to try and work it out. Finally I cancelled with the outside company and Hilton got me the tickets CHEAPER! Most resorts would just give you the number to the place and send you on your way, HGVC made sure we were covered. Thank you Roni and Jose! We had a two bedroom lockoff very close to the pools which was great. It was beautiful, clean and very spacious. One thing some people may not like is that they do not clean your room everyday, actually they only clean it half-way through your stay. To me I loved it because nobody was bothering me, waking me up in the am and moving my things. I did not mind having to wash the towels and dishes once in awhile, we just turned on the dish washer and the clothes washer before we left in the am. My only complaint about the resort was our elevator in Pembroke House. It was slower than the turtles out back, but we made it through so it's all good hahaha. Plus on the top floor I was not all about lugging stuff up the stairs! We got food from the Pizza Hut on site as well as the deli there. The food and everything else available was good but it was also pretty expensive. I would recommend going just outside the resort to Publix to buy food and if you want to order in call Orlando Pizza. All of the service at the hotel was great, everything there was beautiful and clean. The pools and hot tubs were immaculate. The location, literally at the front gate of Sea World and right off on International Drive was GREAT! We had a really good time here and I would definitely stay at HGVC at SeaWorld again!
