“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Really enjoyed my time in HGV, location first class only 10 min walk to seaworld, and a 25 min walk to Aquatica if your brave, but the shuttle buses run like clockwork to save your legs. 15 min drive to Universal, and about the same the other way to Disney. Staff are helpful and friendly, all had a great attitude, always greeting you wherever you are on site, can't fault them at all. I had a 1bedroom Suite for family of 3 on 5th floor in Tucker House and stayed for 11 nights, very nice views from balcony and lovely spacious apartment, very comfortable. Pool is large and just deep enough to 5ft, plenty of room for everyone and some nice games around the site to keep you busy. Would definitely book again, I would ignore any reviews saying the place looks tired and dated.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Pool area could use updating for with kids options -- sprinkler feature, slide, etc. At 7 PM the waterfall feature was turned off and that is the only interesting feature for young kids. The hot tub options were pleasant. The room size was outstanding. There was a mold smell in the room. The fridge and microwave were less than satisfactory in this room -- fridge noisy, handle backwards, imbalanced, off color, old. Microwave broken piece from prior guest. The value was excellent as we toured the resort to consider timeshare purchase. The beds were excellent.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The welcome was extremely friendly, and the complex is big, with great pool and relax areas.

The room was slightly tired, a few bumps on the furniture, scratches and so on, I got a great deal, so I know I had the older version of the studio, so the furniture, bed etc was older. But really, in Orlando, you aren't in your room/apartment much are you?

As a woman alone, I felt totally safe, the complex had a 24 hour manned gate and regular walk around the grounds by security guards.

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

A good stay!!

Room Tip: Maybe ask for the newer furnished and decorated rooms (they are decorated in island style, white fur...

Stayed in king br suite with 2 teens 17 and 13. Separate master br, full kitchen etc. cancelled a stay at caribe royals to stay here. First, the rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, well laid out with all amenities. Didn't use the screened in balcony as we were on the first floor and balcony looked out to pathway and wall. If you want a view you can stay on the top floor. My kids loved the basketball court and the pools. There were activities throughout the day for all ages - deal or no deal with prizes, newly wed game or some variation, pool races and games, movies at the movie theatre, basketball shoot out. We had a great time and since we had visited Disney last year decided to forgo the crowds and relax at the hotel. There was a problem with the ac Since it seemed to be stuck at 71 temp. And they came promptly to repair. Thee was also a follow up call. The grounds are extensive but we always got a ride on the golf carts with their friendly staff traveling around the resort. All the staff were very friendly and treated us like valued guests. The pools were extremely clean and they have a quiet pool as well as another pool with all the a ti kites. I had breakfast once at the coral grill cafe by the pool. The food was good and the staaa were very friendly. The jacuzzi in the master br was nice. I usually find something I did not like at most hotels but this wasa wonderful experience. I really have no complaints except that next time I would ask for a room on the top floor. I had a room across from a room that housed machines - it was locked and very quiet though so didn't bother us. The staff are very friendly and when I checked in they asked me if I was interested in a promotion. I told them I had no interest in anything to do with time shares. After a little pushing they backed off and I did not get any calls to my room about timeshare presentations as some have complained on this site. There is a bonefish grill across the street and we had lunch there once. On Wednesdays, the bang bang shrimp costs $5 instead of the regular $10 between 4pm and I think 6pm. It was delicious. My kids ordered the pizza from the on site restaurant which was very reasonable and they said it was delicious. I think I will stick with Hilton Grand vacations line on future trips to other states.
The beds were so comfortable- I'm getting a down comforter. I forgot to mention they have a Lou ge not far from the pool where one can relax and take a break from the heat, watch tv or get on the computers- the couches are comfortable and it is air conditioned.

Room Tip: Take a room on an upper floor

Hilton Grand Vacation Club at SeaWorld in Orlando Florida is a beautiful timeshare property located just a stone's throw from SeaWorld. It is a great family resort with activities and amenities for the entire family. The staff is pleasant and helpful; the grounds are kept up very well; the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished; there are lots of places to eat, fuel up the vehicle & pick up various sundries in the immediate vacinity. There is easy on-and-off to Interstate 4 as well as International Drive. My biggest complaint about this resort is the parking: unless you find a convenient spot while most people are offsite, you may end up parking as far away as the next building!! (Not fun after you've been out & about all day.) I've owned at this resort for 13 years and the parking has ALWAYS been a nightmare.

What a fantastic hotel, the apartments were amazing, ours had a Jacuzzi in the bed room which was big enough for three people. The bed is massive it has three pillows spread across the bed and two more if there needed, everything was in place here, the washing machine and tumble dryer saved us a lot of money and hassle having dirty clothes hanging around, I had all mine washed, ironed and packed on the last night, what a god send!
There was children's entertainment every day but we never used it, the pools are lovely and some evenings they have an out door cinema, if its not out doors by the pool it's inside in a separate room which holds up to 50 people. The pizza shop which is by reception made the best pizzas ever, they were $20 but you could have what ever topping you wanted at no extra cost. The lady in the grocery shop was really friendly and helpful. The prices weren't too bad.
The free bus to seaworld and aquatica was not a very good service, it was free so I surprise that made up for if a bit. The drivers were nice. We will certainly come back here again.

Room Tip: We had a one bed apartment with a pull out sofa bed, it was plenty of space for the three of us. We...

We spent 4 days here and shuttles come right to the entrance to Seaworld and Aquatica. Very clean and great staff. Got back to the hotel as the store was closing and wanted/NEEDED a late night snack and the staff made us a pizza to go along with our beer and wine and pop for the kids!!!! Great place.
