The Fairfield Inn International Drive is a fine choice for families, business trips, or vacationers in general. It is half way between Disney and the airport. Room included an ironing board and iron, clock radio, hairdryer, coffee maker with supplies, and good cable tv. I did not try the pool. The self-serve breakfast was great, with frozen breakfast sandwiches to microwave, rolls and pastries, fruit, cereal, coffee, etc. The only down side is that the building lacks any view to speak of since it is tucked away on a commercial roadway with other hotels. However, the beauty of central Florida is only a short drive away. Very satisfied. Coming from the airport, you might miss the turn for the Fairfield so look for the Residence Inn by Marriott and turn there, and you will see the very small sign for Canada Drive on the right. The Fairfield is only 1/5 mile down the road on the right.

This Hotel is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in Orlando and this was our 6th visit to the sunshine state. The Fairfield Inn is an immaculately clean hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in a suite which was very good value for money and well worth the upgrade. The bed was extremely comfortable and is super kingsize (uk sizing) My 10 year old son found the sofa bed very comfortable too. The maid cleaned our room very well every day, after a busy day at the parks we always returned to a spotlessly clean room and bathroom. The hotel is in the perfect location just off of the International Drive down a very quite road. There are plenty of places to eat at. We found TGI Fridays very good and only a 2 minutes walk from the hotel, and Sizzlers is also very good value for money with wonderful food and a fantastic salad/starters bare which is all you can eat. You really do need to go there, especially if you enjoy a good steak! We found this one the cheapest places to eat as well as the perfect steaks. I would avoid booking the Pirates dinner show which is also a 2 minute walk from Fairfield Inn. Its a total waste of money, the actual show itself is ok, but the food was awful and not worth the money.
I would recommend the Fairfield Inn to my family and friends and we will most definatly be returning there. We had a fantastic holdiay!

Stayed here for 2 weeks from 9.4.07 - 23.4.07. We booked through Virgin holidays. This hotel exceeded our expectations on all levels.
Firstly the hotels location was great 1 block from I-drive 2 mins walk from restaurants and also on a very quiet road. The staff were great very friendly only problem we encountered with staff was the very pushy lady from Marriott vacations who hovers in the lobby & wanted us to attend a 90 min presentation on time share. It was only after being very firm with her that she left us alone.
The rooms were great we had a king suite so our daughter could sleep on the sofa bed. Lovely bathroom and spotlessly clean the maid worked really hard.
The daily continental breakfast was great although very busy every morning. This was good for getting to the parks early.
The pool was clean and had pelnty of sun beds and if the clean towels run out just let the desk know and they were replaced straight away.
For evening meals would recommend TGI at end of road, Wild Jacks on I-Drive,Ponderossa,Chillis. If you want a bit more expensive meal Fishbones is good but beware of extremely large portions!! Avoid Salt Island on I-Drive very very expensive and food no better than anywhere else, also the only place where we had bad service and were expected to leave 20% tip!
5 mins to universal, wet & wild. 15 mins to all disney.
Loved the hotel loved USA!!
We will definately stay here again fantastic hotel!

Wonderful service from check-in to check-out. Room was very clean. Location was very quite, but central. Easy to get to Disney and other locations. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Would be my first choice for my next visit to Orlando.

“Good Price, Good Ammenities”

We just returned from a one night stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for a quick weekend get-away with the kids for spring break. My wife likes cheap and I like ammenities, and I think we both came away satisfied with our experience. We only live a couple of hours away from Orlando, so we do this a few times a year and I think we have stayed at a different place each time amazingly. We don't need a lot because our days are spent in the parks or on the town but at under $100/night we found there to be more ammennities than we would normally find in a similar hotel at that price. The game room is a nice touch and we actually partook of some games with the kids after breakfast to loosen us up for the trip back home. I saw someone actually using the laundry room, the pool (which looked very welcoming, but didn't have a chance to get in) and folks having a pretty good time in the lounge area (possibly because the march madness sweet sixteen tourney was on). One of the more imporant things for us on a budget is the breakfast. It's no fun dragging kids to a restaurant for breakfast where they would never eat the value of what the meal costs, nor to a "continental" and try to get them to eat a stale bagel, miniature muffin bites, or some over waxed apples. This breakfast was rather nice with plenty of food and plenty of room to sit, unlike fancier hotels. I was impressed with the variety and the quality. Oh yes, the rooms - goldilox size (not too big and not too little) and some confy beds with foam tops. We didn't hear a lot of outside or "neighborly" noise so everyone slept well with no stiffness when we woke up.
Location was great - close to most parks and being right off the end of I-drive makes it beneficial for all of I-drive's activities and attractions.
All in all our experience was better than expected, and better than we have experienced elsewhere. I like to try new things, so I of course will shop around on our next getaway trip to Orlando but will definitely keep this one in mind because I wouldn't mind staying here again at all.
