The Fairfield Inn & Suites was the best hotel I have stayed at in this area. You could not fault the cleanliness of the rooms & public area. Reception staff were very helpful & friendly and were always willing to assist with any queries.
The free breakfast was excellent, just what you needed to start the day, ran from 06:30-10:00 and always plenty of choice no matter what time you arrived.
I stayed in a suite which was well worth paying the extra for, lots of space and a huge tv & stereo in lounge area.
I stayed at this property for 2 weeks and the whole time I couldn't believe what a fabulous find this hotel was until it came to the last night when myself & my partner were packing to come home. Unfortunatley a dvd, sweets & a vanity minor had gone missing from our room, although they were only very small items that could be replaced it just slightly took the edge off our stay, especially as all 3 items were in bags that were not left on display which made you wonder how often someone (the room maids were the only people that entered our room) had been looking through our things. Luckily we used the free safe in reception for more valuable items so nothing of value was taken!
Even though we had the unfortunate luck of the above I would stay at this property again as I enjoyed it so much, I would just recommend anyone to be careful what you leave lying around in your room.
I never used the pool but it looked ok, never very busy, and the games room in the hotel was great!
Plenty of places to eat around I-Drive but one place I would recommend is the Golden Corrall located on the corner of Sand Lake Road & I-Drive opposite the huge McDonalds, it was a buffett style restaurant and the food was much better quality & taste than the Ponderossa's & other buffett places
All in All a fab 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!
