My family and I just returned from a 4 night stay at this property. The location was perfect for exploring Orlando amusement parks, including Universal Studios, Sea World, and Disney World. The staff was very friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable for our family of three ( 2 adults/ 1 child). The breakfast area was large and a nice variety of hot and cold foods was offered. We opted to drive to the parks but the hotel offered shuttle service to/from Disney World Resorts which appeared to be used by many hotel guests. (Parking at Disney was $14/day and could be used at any of the four parks for the entire day). Breakfast was offered until 10 AM. We found that waiting until after 9:15 AM (the first shuttle departure) the breakfast area was less hectic. You may want to consider that if you are driving to the parks on your own.

Can't say enough about the location. The hotel is located just off of Interstate 4 in the Lake Buena Vista area and convenient to everything. It is about 30 minutes drive from the airport (MCO) and within 10 minutes drive to Disney World - a little longer for Universal and Sea World. Many restaurants and stores are in the area, although we opted to eat dinner at/near the amusement parks.

When visiting Orlando, we suggest saving on lodging and car rental and "splurging" on the theme parks. Overall, we found Hampton Inn to be a great value for the money. If you have AAA membership, you can get a discount at the hotel as well as some of the theme parks, so check it out. If you are looking to rent a car, check out Economy. We were able to get a rental for $13/day (before taxes). It is a little bit of a hassle to get there, but they do offer shuttle service from the airport. Just give them a call and let them know in what terminal you're located. They do require proof of insurance, so make sure you have that paperwork with you. And when visiting Disney World parks, make the best use of FastPass services. It is free of charge and can save you some valuable time when trying to hit the more popular rides. Just remember that you can only get a FastPass for one ride during a time period. For instance, if your FastPass says to return to a particular ride between 1:00 - 2:00 PM, you cannot get a FastPass for another attraction until 1:00 PM. Most importantly, relax, have fun, and enjoy your trip!
