We've just returned from a week's stay in a Double room.
Rooms: We stayed in a 2 Double room which was more than spacious enough for 2 people. Plenty of storage including chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The beds were comfortable with plenty of choice of pillows (5 on each bed!), and everything was very clean. Bathroom was of a good size, with plenty of towels, complimentary toiletries, and good water pressure in the shower. Our room was a couple of doors down from the lift on the 1st floor - there was no noise through the walls from next door rooms, however we did get woken up a few times by noise from the corridor (people slamming doors and shouting to each other when getting in late at night). We couldn't hear the lifts themselves (as some other people have mentioned). Also the air conditioning in the room was far too noisy to have on at night (but we managed without) - there also seemed to be a big aircon unit outside the room which could be a bit noisy until about 9pm at night when it shut off.
Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast, with a wide selection (e.g. oatmeal, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bagels/muffins, scrambled egg, sausage patties, make-your-own waffles, hot drinks/juice). The selection doesn't change each day but we didn't really find this a problem. We usually ate between 7-7.30am and there was hardly anybody else around, but on the last morning we ate at 9.30am and the breakfast room was packed with big groups and some of the food had run out and obviously not been filled up quickly enough. So probably best to eat early! Only criticism was use of disposable plates/cutlery etc as don't think this is very environmentally friendly!
Facilities: The hotel has a gym, games room, a small shop in the lobby. They also keep out hot drinks in the breakfast room during the day/evening so you can help yourself. The pool looked quite small, and is set next to the parking lot, so wasn't that appealing. But we didn't use any of these facilities so can't really comment. I think the hotel offers Disney shuttles but we didn't use these.
Service: Check-in and out was quick and painless. Maid service was good. Didn't have any unexpected problems so can't comment further.
Location: A straightforward 15-20minute drive to the DisneyWorld area (obviously depends on which park you're going to, and the time of day, for exact time), and about 10 minutes from Downtown Disney. Took us about 20 minutes to get to Universal. The hotel is on the edge of a strip mall which has some restaurants if you don't want to go far, and is also just down the road from the Crossroads Centre which has lots of restaurants, a supermarket and Pirate Cove Adventure Golf. Some people have mentioned parking - the hotel gives you a parking permit to display in your windscreen, and we personally never had problem finding a space near the hotel (i.e. not in front of the shops).
Overall we were happy with our stay - we felt the room offered excellent value for money and was an excellent base for the Disney area in particular.
Room Tip: Rooms further down the hall from the lifts would probably be quieter
