I have nothing but praise for this Hotel, the Manager and his staff are a credit to the Company.Nothing was to much trouble and all my needs were attended to immediately, my family and I had a wonderful stay and would definely consider coming here again.
The free breakfast and dinner from mon-thurs was very good, but you need to be very early to get a table.

I have to agree with the good reviews. We just returned from a 6 night stay and we had a positive experience. As someone said, the master bed was comfortable and the sofa bed is just that, a sofa bed. The full size fridge was great, because we kept plenty of beverages and snacks on hand. Everyday we came back to the room, it had been cleaned with fresh linens and towels, even the dishes had been ran through the dishwasher. We heard kids running in the hall and babies crying a couple of times, which is to be expected because the hotel was filled with families, but nothing that kept us awake. The location was great, we didn't have a car, so we used the free shuttle to Universal and a quick 3 min walk to International drive gave us access to multiple restaurants and the I-trolley, which we used twice to go to the outlet malls. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay, better than usual, but nothing to write home about. Waffels, sausage, potatoes, cereal, breads and coffee. Just something quick before hitting the attractions. One piece of advice, go to breakfast early because the dining room fills up fast. I would definitely stay again.

I booked this hotel through Hotwire and had a great $48.00 a night rate for our stay. We found the rooms to be comfortable (we were in a two room suite). The suite had an extremely comfortable king sized bed with numerous pillows and a sleeper sofa that had the typical feel of a sleeper sofa (not quite a bed, but adequate). The room had a full size fridge, cooking range, microwave which is a definite plus if you are staying for several days or have a family traveling with you. The room also featured two televisions and one bathroom. The room was clean and quiet and we did not hear anyone in the other rooms. On the downside, the one bathroom in the room was in the master suite so anyone sleeping on the sleeper sofa would have to walk through the master suites to access the bathroom. If the hotel ever did a remodel, they should consider adding another door to access it.
The hotel did have a hotel and jacuzzi in the courtyard which was great for swimming, but if you intend to get a great deal of sun, think twice. The design of the building obstructs the sun reaching parts of the courtyard. An evening reciption with wine, beer and sodas is available as well as a great hot breakfast buffet with self made waffles, bagels, toast, eggs, meat, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, sweet rolls etc. There was plenty to appeal to even the pickiest child eater.
We found the hotel staff to be professional, but not overly friendly. Any issue or question brought to their attention was rapidly solved.

After reading reviews about Homewood Suites, we made our reservations to stay for the weekend. Our stay was like many others here. The front desk was very cordial and check in was prompt without any problems. The suite consists of a kitchen, living room and bedroom. In the living room was a sleeper couch that accommodated the kids. They had complementary breakfast but we we got up late both mornings and missed it. (available until 10am). Room was clean and the AC wasn't loud (important since it will be running while you sleep). The one downside is we did a little cooking and the teflon pan with pretty scratched up. They didn't have a spatula, so I think people used a forks. (I'm not lowering my rating since I didnt ask the front desk for a replacement.)
