“Nice hotel for a family with kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

My family of four stayed her for 5 nights while visiting Disney World. The suites are great for extended stay as we had access to a refrigerator, microwave and a small sitting area with a pull-out bed. Breakfast was descent but seating was at times difficult to come by. There was always eggs and meat every morning and then the usual breakfast stuff. There are 3 Marriot buildings within the compound. Between two of them is a food court that has Starbucks, Edy ice cream, a sandwich place and a chain pizza place. Staff were friendly and room was kept clean throughout our stay. Pool was shaped as Mickey and was various depths. The hotel was one exit away from the Park exit. Cheaper for us to drive ourselves than use a shuttle service.

This is a very ncie hotel located within minutes of Downtown Disney, and convenient to an outlet mall and may nice restaurants, right off the interstate. It had a nice continental breakfast. FYI, there is NOT an indoor pool and spa, although there is at another of the hotels in the Marriott Village where it is located, which your guest key card will give you access to.

Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. We had two rooms. The reception staffs were helpful. The rooms were spacious with small kichentte, sofas and working desk. They used fitted bedsheets which did not fit the mattress nicely and this could be quite irritating as bedsheets kept coming off. Bathrooms were reasonably clean. Towels looked old and over-used. Otherwise, the rooms were quite comfortable to stay in. Gym room was better equiped than similar grade hotels. We also managed to run around the carparks within Marriott Village and the Vineland Avenue in the morning.Free breakfast was fine.
The location of this hotel was great for shopping and visiting Disney. The Orlando Premier Outlet was just a stone throw away. There were also quite a few restaurants within walking distance.
In general, this hotel was good value for money.

This was a last minute booking to be closer to the airport on our return home. This place is immaculate, from the lobby to the rooms. It is one of the nicer places I have stayed near the airport in Orlando.

The location of this resort is great. Paired up with two other Marriott hotels in a secure and gated location (with entry manned-security). The free breakfast is ok, exactly what you'd expect from a FREE breakfast bar. Courtland next door has a $14 per person buffet with many more options, especially BACON!

Only drawback is when exiting - turn to your left and it's easy going, one block from the outlets; turn to your right, backed up like it's 24 hour rush hour. This is because it's a one lane (right) to turn onto the street that takes you to the entrance ramp to begin your 5-10 min ride to Disney. Not a deal killer, but wanted to advise so people could plan accordingly.

We had a great experience at SpringHill Suites for 2 days before we stayed at the Port Orleans-Riverside resort for a week and one night after. We certainly noticed that we had a lot more space in our room, along with a microwave and sofa for relaxing! It left me wondering that maybe it could be our next choice of hotel if we visited DisneyWorld again. We were back at the hotel after the fireworks at EPCOT in 5 minutes flat!! The pool area was quite noisy....either traffic from I-4 or AC's but we hardly spent any time at the pool at PO either! At 1/2 the price, it's a great alternative, if you have a car with you!

Room Tip: We smartened up the second stay.....request a room facing Vineland Ave. It was much quieter than the...

I am fussy. Very fussy. I have OCD and I'm a clean freak. This hotel was absolutely spot on! There is nothing I could complain about. We stayed for one week from 27th Oct to 3rd Nov 2012. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Rooms were massive with great facilities, comfy beds and powerful aircon. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

The breakfast buffet was great. Yes the plates, cups and cutlery etc were disposable but so what?! It saves on cleaning and no risk of dirty utensils! Wide range of food (even for someone as fussy as me) and the waffle making was fun as well as yummy! Someone was always on hand to keep the area clean and the decaf coffee was of a very high standard.

The on-site shopping area was handy, especially as we arrived late and wanted to grab a quick bite (we got Pizza Hut). And the shuttle bus to Disney was useful. They even took us to Universal for a reasonable price.

Would 100% stay again!
