“Great latin food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2012 via mobile

We stumbled across this place while visiting Orlando. Not much on the outside but service was great and friendly, food was nicely seasoned and tasteful. Reminded us of home cooking.

“It's a horrendous cheap dive (no offense to the dives)”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2012

In my previous review, the Argentinean steakhouse was great. Today it has become a cheap Latin American style buffet. I've gone twice in order to grant them a pass in case they had a bad day the first time I went. The second time was even worse.

The food at the buffet cart was cold. The beans weren't even home made. They simply opened a can of baked beans and let them sit out at the buffet bar where they just sat there an turned gooey cold and tasteless. The rice had been sitting there so long that it became hard. Even if you like "coscorron" type rice it was terrible. The tomatoes on the salad bar were starting to taste bad. The pork (pernil) was so dry you couldn't even chew it. I didn't even try the seafood shrimp salad lest I get sick. By golly, even the Coca Cola was warm when they just simply brought the can. They have a HUGE grill system set up in the front but they cook in the back. One can only speculate. To make matters worse, they now have a "club" in the back with loud, obnoxious dance music going on while you try to eat. In all fairness to the owners, I spoke to them nicely about the sad food experience on that first occasion. This second time, they chose not to come out to talk. Horrendous experience indeed. The only redeeming quality was the waitress that tried her best to make excuses for the owner.

“I would rather get kicked in the face than eat there again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2012 via mobile

They advertise a wonderful lunch buffet. The buffet had three options, white rice, yellow rice or burned chicken. I grew up eating great Latin food and this I garbage. Three item buffet, and an attitude to go with it free of charge. They will fail shortly. This is not an argentine restaurant anymore. It's ghetto Dominican. One guy was putting ranch dressing on his beans.

“UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2011

Sorry to say, the original owners sold the place. The new owners have no clue how to run a restaurant, avoid this place at all costs, sorry ;(

“This former great steak house is now a non-Argentinian restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2011

I used to go to this restaurant all the time; however, a few weeks ago, the owner changed it to a Puerto Rican food restaurant. Just great. Its what Orlando needs: another Puerto Rican or Cuban restaurant. So, as good as this place was for Argentinian food-no longer.
