We had a restaurant.com gift card ($25), so we figured we'd give The Garden Grove a try. Most Disney area hotels have a parking attendant, but there was nobody there. Parking was around $12 at the Swan. At other Disney hotels, you can just tell the attendant that you are going to eat there and they'll wave you through after verifying ID, but not at the Swan (I realize the Swan is technically not owned by Disney even though it's on Disney property). So we parked elsewhere and walked.
We were seated, but no server came to give us instructions or take drink orders. So we went to the seafood buffet (it was a Friday night). The food looked good, but most of it was terrible. A lot of the food was missing from the buffet and wasn't really replenished during our time at the restaurant (about an hour). The server came and abruptly took our drink orders. Later he came by with the drinks and kind of slammed them on the table and walked off without saying anything. He brought lobster for both of us (included in the buffet), but it was horrific! It was tough, chewy meat and had little to no flavor.
Even with the restaurant.com certificate, the cost of the meal was around $65 for two (20% gratuity was mandatory and included in the final cost). We wouldn't have tipped the server that generously for sure.
Overall, if you're going to spend $60-$80 for a meal at Disney, don't waste it at The Garden Grove. There are many delicious restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. The Garden Grove just isn't one of them!
